But since Friday and today I have loss over 1500 Euro.... = 4 trades and all closed with loss. A trade is still open but with negative floating.... It's looks that this EA was only optimized to work for a short period only. The seller don't give any answer.... ForexDerivative does actually exactly the opposite of a trend now. Otherwise, you will see in a month or two how bad or good it is if it recovers your virtual deposit. My own experience, as I said, is very poor so far. I went through the code and find that so many parameters are just impossible to optimize, and you likely need to do it weekly, which does not tell you anything good about the EA. I have lost 1500 Euro, but I'm still in profit, because last week the EA was very profitable. I hope with the next trades the EA will recover the losses otherwise I will immediately stop it and request a refund. Maybe you have right that this EA need a weekly optimazion to remain profitable. But this is impossible for me. And if the seller claim that this EA is capable to self-adjusting the settings to adapt at the current market situation so we don't have do anything (only in theory)... It comes with a DLL where all settings are pre-set for each year(!) including beginning of 2009. All variables (there are 42 which vary over time of total of 101) stored in DLL were analyzed here (including by myself), and I decided not to buy that EA, which should be very sensitive to market conditions even on backtests. Even though I understand and accept that EAs should be optimized from time to time, and the author did well on optimizing previous years, I am suspicious he will not be able to predict the future and provide you with new settings before conditions change :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The loss in real money was about 2000 Euro. In my opinion this EA is a Random Trader. Maybe some trades are good, but in the long time without a really system this EA will fail.... I have also contacted the seller, but they don't offer any support or help. So this is a bad signal and I recommend everybody to ask for a refund.
