Nice results Syk1kz, can you tell us which Ea you're running for the USDJPY pair? I think you mentioned in a previous post you were using DP on EURUSD and USDCHF, the others were Caspian.

I believe it is good idea to open a workshop for this EA to develop a reverse order positions in case the trend went opposite so the losses would be avoided.

 

Also, I believe adding StopLimit and Buylimit positions would support this idea to gain some pips in case the price went out of the sudden very fast.

 

I hope I can hear some opinions regarding this issue.

;) I am not a coder or programmer but there are many EA's on this great site with reverse order positions so if some 1 has a little bit of knowledge they could take the code from 1 of the EA's & put it straight into DP Ultimate example (I only trade EU & UCHF) EU buy/sell trade 1.4xxxx --buy/sell stop 1.4xxxx UCHF buy/sell trade 1.01xxx --buy/sell stop 1.01xxx ENJOY :P

I doubt there is another bug in the code of DP:

 

if (OrderType() == OP_BUY && OrderMagicNumber() == g_magic_240 || OrderMagicNumber() == g_magic_244 || OrderMagicNumber() == g_magic_248 || OrderMagicNumber() == g_magic_252)

 

I think the line above is equal to

 

if ( (OrderType() == OP_BUY && OrderMagicNumber() == g_magic_240) || OrderMagicNumber() == g_magic_244 || OrderMagicNumber() == g_magic_248 || OrderMagicNumber() == g_magic_252)

 

In MQL4 "&&" will be executed before "||". So it will mess up closing some orders.

 

There are many lines are the same case in the code. Please be serious to take a look at those lines!

Here is my v2.02 where i combined the latest correction made by QuickSilver that fixed some mess up of some closing orders in his v110709 and the latest made by me in my v2.01 that fixed the attribution of some magic number on selling orders made by logic 3 and 4.

 

I noticed that my version had the bug QuickSilver corrected and his version have also the bug that i corrected where the lines:

I made some test in backtest with what i can see of your settings and it works fine.

 

From what i see of what you wrote, you use the "Close-AllTrades_At = True" setting. And MT4 tell you that you are not using the HH:MM format for entering the hour. So i recommend that you checked to be sure you didn't enter a ; instead of a : in the hour you entered.

 

Other than that, as i said, i tested it with "Close-AllTrades_At" = True as well as Off and it worked fine. And if you didn't make the mistake of putting a ; in your hour, then the only other thing i can see is a bad copy. In that case re-download the ea and reinstall it.

Dragon pips seems to be running about about a 50% success rate for the last month or so, which is really bad for an EA with a 3 pip TP and a 25 pip SL. I demoed the 7-11 gmt london for a while but that was even worse, DP made me a ton of money in the summer months when all other bots were performing badly. I think I will shelve it until next summer or until I see alot of people showing strong daily results rather than a few people showing a good day once a week.
