Hello to cycle lovers I happened to read Bayer's book a couple of days ago My attention was drawn to a cycle. On page 17 of the book, which I am including a photo and the book itself in the file, it mentions a Bayer cycle. I tried to search for this cycle for every 100 years with my own astronomical software if it has calculated it manually, and it found a similar cycle from 1900 to 2000, that is, from 1943 to 1996, it found a similar cycle with a difference of about 1 degree. I bought this program from someone online about two years ago, but my PC crashed and I replaced the hard drive, which caused the program to stop working. I am working with Optuma on silver. After some research, I found two planetary lines for silver. Now I wanted to ask if anyone here has worked with Optuma and can draw a better planetary line for silver. I would appreciate if anyone could provide ideas and opinions for discussion on choosing better planets on silver with better numbers for settings ( Price Unit). The first picture is the combination of Pluto and Mercury with a price Unit setting of 0.11. And the next photo is just Venus with a setting Price Unit of 0.01.

OK , Metonic Cycle where all planets align at same position as they were 19 years back !. Something similar exist in Dynamic Trader also...cycle finder. I guess Optuma, Timing solutions and some other software can plot parallel line of underlying of similar security if sufficient quality data exist. Thanks

Jhon Snow allows installation on multiple PCs. But you may have to show pictures of the PCs should he request. I have his Optuma on 3 of my computers. Bought it in 2021 and later requested for an upgrade in 2025. The upgrade was for 3 computers as well.

A question for experienced Optuma users: do you feel the time invested in learning it is justified by the results you've achieved? Does it genuinely enhance your technical toolkit, or is it just the same old rehashed stuff, destined to be forgotten on a hard drive like countless other trading programs?

Hello I want to draw a Gann planetary line for Jupiter at a scale of 10 dollars per 1 degree but I can't find an option in Optuma. We have this option in Timing Solution (https://www.timingsolution.com/TS/Mini/64/index.htm) but where is in Optuma?Or how can I do it? Please does anyone know about this?

better to work with Fibonacci Galactic Trader or Timing Solution (both have hard User Interface). Optuma much better but cant find working version or make it work on my machine. Harmonic Trader, i was thinking of something else, all about harmonic pattern which was Java based programme. NOw Ninja Trader has that add-on.

I do have it. Very old program that uses planetary lines. It is now incorporated into the Fibonacci Galactic Trader program. So you if you have the FGT program, you don't need this program. It's by Thomas Long, son of Jeanne Long and Robert Krausz. Install as administrator mode. Run program as administrator or set compatibility to XP service pack 3. You will see error but program continues to run. Sometimes it may hang but after that it appears good. Initially it will build the ephemeris and takes a while. I am not sure how accurate it is since it flagged a runtime error on running the program. So test it out with caution. Maybe you are better off using planetary lines from Timing Solution, Market Trader or Optuma. There is a manual in the program folder which also includes a tutorial on Planetary Lines. Good luck. First of all, I do admit that I have never used Metaswing even though I had the Metastock version 4.0 about 10+ years ago. I was made aware of its possibilites only just a couple of days ago. When I last checked Optuma 1.6 two years ago, which was downloaded here, ND Research was not activated. It was activated in the earlier Market Analyst 8. Perhaps, we do have different copies of Optuma 1.6. However, for Market Analyst 8, I was not able to connect to live data, specifically Forex data. (in fact I did not knew that ND Research was Metaswing indicators until now) I have since uninstalled Optuma 1.6 and Market Analyst 8 some time back.

Try contacting him at his Telegram address @Jhon_snow_0 (beware of fake ones) He upgraded my Optuma just 3 months ago when I requested as I wanted to test out the Go-NoGo indicators. Believe it or not, I haven't requested any update for 2 years as I realized I didn't need Optuma. But when I requested, he obliged and upgraded the software within 2 days.

I tried without success with Optuma. Sorry!

Welcome. Hope you find success in your endeavor. This forum is not as lively as it used to be but do make the best of it. There is Optuma 1.6 and Optuma 2.2 (offline version) here that you will probably find useful.
