Calling laser1000it, since you are now the go to man for all NT7 "education" related projects, I am hoping you can do somthing with the TopDog Trading
NT7 indicators msi file.It is a genuine Topdog Installation msi file and I hope you will be able to extricate the indicators and educate them for the
forum.Barry Burns doesn't advertise his products much nowadays because his indicators are quite well known to futures traders already and most have
already bought and used them for their trading.Hope you will be able to break and educate it. I got it from your old Indo friend, Cashmanic and he said
if Admis wasn't around then you were the man.

Eric Nathan got a reaction from OsmanIM in Anybody know what this Indicator is?
Hey Osman I checked out the URL you posted.$implysimpletradingsystems.com
lol "Making Trading Great Again"? I hope he's not some crazed Trump supporter. But you are right! I too ain't seen any indicator like that.So I am
guessing it's very proprietary and not some common MACD, or other oscillator with common settings.
In the SSTS-J indicator pics,I observed that one of the line's peaks and troughs is correllated with the pivots of the period. (PL,LPH,HPL,etc) So that
alone leaves me to believe that it's important to know the proprietary settings of the renko bars because it's turns are directly matched with it. And
a good competent C++ programmer(not just Ninjascript) could code it.But it would probably cost you a few hundreds. Now if you asked me, it would
probably be more cost effective if you just went ahead and leased it for a month, and try to have it "educated" at Indo, before you pay a programmer to
code it.
Btw, I have sent you a PM.
Take care Osman.

Yes Osman I found it to be the same too. The Wide differential line is a normal feature of Dvan but the Show me dots are only for the Multicharts platform. I don't know why they are not for NT too as they are quite helpful.
Here's a YT video of their system on Multicharts and you can see their show me dots.

Eric Nathan reacted to OsmanIM in New DVANSmartLines Trial for education
Here's the very latest edition of the DVAN Smartlines. Their latest version contains some new features that previous versions didn't have like the useful DVAN Wide Differential line, and the new DVAN Trigger Signals Showme Dots. So it is a definite improvement over the past older ones. The ones currently found in Indo are of the past versions. I am sure the new version will be useful to traders at Indo. Hopefully some members with "education" skills will be able to educate the new DVAN Trial.Thank you in advance! DVANSmartLines Trial https://www.sendspace.com/file/9ln1ml -

Eric Nathan got a reaction from ⭐ borsaman in Catching the Bounce
Here's Guppy himself explaining the important differences in using the GMMA to trade Bull and Bear markets. There are vital differences of trading the GMMA in Bull and Bear markets.
Daryl Guppy's DVD "Catching the Bounce"
Trading the bounce is a reliable, successful and simple strategy in a bull market. In a bear market the rules change.
Momentum trades from the long side behave differently. Selecting the correct entry conditions has a significant impact on the success and profitability of the trade. Rebound trades include a higher level of risk. Aggressive entries increase risk dramatically. Understanding the behaviour of price in a rebound trade reduces the risk and improves the probability of success.
The successful momentum or rebound trade starts with defining the preferred buy-range. This is directly related to the behaviour of price and volatility in preceding days. Better buy-range trade planning improves the probability of success, but incorrect execution of entry strategies can increase the risk.
Guppy discusses the combinations and subtleties in these entry decisions using animated charts. Watch how the trade unfolds during the day and recognise the exact entry conditions. These methods are used by end-of-day traders who want to get a better and safer entry price. The methods are also used by intraday traders and applied to 1, 3, or 5 minute charts. Catching the rebound momentum at the correct point is essential for trading success in intraday time frames.
This dynamic presentation DVD will teach you how to:
How to recognise a bear market recovery
How to set a sensible buy-range for the proposed entry
How to minimise risk with a better entry into momentum trades
How to minimise risk with a better entry in a rebound from support
How to interpret price activity inside the preferred buy-range
How to interpret price activity that opens outside the buy-range - is it an opportunity or an invitation to disaster?
Techniques suitable for end of day and intraday trading
Techniques suitable for long side and short side trading
Theres a free GMMA indicator with various options and settings for the Long MAs and Short MAs at https://www.indicatorwarehouse.com/ninjatrader-indicator/fmma-fanned-multi-color-moving-averages-free-indicator-download/. They call it FMMA but it's still essentially a GMMA.
And I believe it's available at Investasi too.
Note:Because it's a big file I an unable to post this to sendspace. They have file size limitations. Mediafire has no such limitation, and they store uploads longer.

Eric Nathan got a reaction from ⭐ sherbaaz in Toni hansen fibs
You know IMHO I feel that Toni Hansen is arguably the real "Fibonacci Queen" when most people will say that it's Carolyn Boroden. Toni is a marvelous and well respected coach to a lot of newbies first starting to learn the essentials of Fibs and her teachings in video and book format is very practical and to the point (not easy to do in Fibs.)I also think she(as a world class trader) is far more warm and friendlier to newbies and non traders. She's also a lot more cuter than Carolyn.(My personal opinion)
If you feel that the study of Fibs has an important part to play in trading and in the essential interpretation of a trading chart, then it's your lucky day.
Here are two videos by Toni(from the disciplinedtrader.com) defining what matters the most in all things Fibonacci, which I dare say will even interest our Jane, our own Fibonacci Queen.;)
http://thedisciplinedtrader.com/tonihansen/videos/
The page contains Video #1: The Three Most Powerful Fibonacci Trading Techniques 39mins 40s and Video #2: Advanced Pivot Timing Techniques Using Fibonacci 51mins 40s
Enjoy all.:)

Hello Osman.
Get to know your Dataseries bartypes Osman. Your renko bars, tick bars, volume bars, etc are a necessary evil in futures trading, so get to know them well.Yes occasionally there will be conflicting bartypes meant for the same slot. That's when your knowledge of bartype troubleshooting can help you.Ninjatrader support can't help you much there, heck they don't even advise you to directly edit/modify the code in your bartype.cs. I hope with NT8, we are all past that.
Here's the indicator I use from Shark Indicators.
SiInstalledBarsInfo.zip (27.32KB)
https://www.sendspace.com/file/rv9g7r
Once you have imported the zip file into NT7 as per normal, close and restart NT7.
Look for SiInstalledBarsInfo indicator and add it to your chart. And you will know all the NT related bartypes you have in your system, and which periodtype Custom number it has been slotted to.That's all there is to it.
Btw,moneyshare's indicator also works equally well.
Peace,bro :)
