Marty did you once tell me that a consortium trader of yours once used the DVAN system to try out for the TST Combine and FTP? I have forgotten the details. Can you fill me in?

You must mean Osman Marican one of our chief instructors. Yes early last year, he applied for the TST 50K combine and easily passed the 10 day,using the DVAN system and got his money refunded. After that he had to sit for the FTP (Funded Trader Prep test) or live trader prep which he said had different rules and there was more pressure on him.He said it was very severe and he didn't do too well.They offered him a free recourse but he turned them down.

My second day testing the LA system on GB meetings,(again can't test all the meetings because of the time difference factor),I tested on the first few meetings at Ascot and Hamilton Park.I follow all the pre race qualifying rules to choose horses.Only one horse was pre qualified. It was at Ascot in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes race at 16.20(UK time).I like that the system makes you resist on over betting and only select the horses and races with the best probability.Plus the very low liability makes me very comfortable and not panic.

The selected horse was once again the heavy favorite A Shin Hikari at 1.53 odds and it lost coming in unplaced. So another win for the system with my selective betting period.At only 1.53 odds I could have put a real big bet on the LAY bet on this horse but it's only paper betting for now during testing.:)

This system makes too many signals. May I ask which indicator is used for filtering out some false ones?

If you are worried about filters and confirmations for this system,you will find this video quite informative.IMHO, I find that this system is quite under rated and many people ignore it because of it's apparent simplicity,but there is more than simplicity going on under the hood and if it works why tinker with it? Remember the KISS principle.This video talks about the different ways to accept or not accept confirmations.

Firstly, Buy/Sell arrows must print.

Then, the convergences is key. You look for

A cross of the DVAN signals for short or long

The pricebars must cross up or dip below the pivot line(dotted line)

Then you must look at The DVAN short term trend indicator and it must correlate with the trend direction above or below the zero line.These are all you need to confirm a valid buy or sell arrow.

Did a paper betting check on yesterday's British racing and following Betfair odds. I used the Little Acorns system to pre qualify the races and horses.It really does keep you out of the dangerous races and definitely keeps the liability very low.I only checked on 2 meets yesterday as time difference is extreme between my country and UK.

I pre-qualified the races for the Ascot(6 races) and Thirsk(8 races)meetings.Only one horse was qualified for the system.It was at Ascot.It's name was The Gurkha and it was a heavy favorite and odds was 1.80. It came in second.So good first test for the Little Acorns.

thanks Lmfm still same issue. When I apply indicator , in indicators settings, the panel where we can change style color line of plot is missing. so its not plotting anything. thanks for your efforts and trouble

If it's a .dll file try dropping it into /bin/custom dir and close and restart Ninjatrader.

Thanks so much to you and Cashmanic. I suspected it was all a rehash of old systems. I guess what they say is true then. There really is nothing new under the Sun.They are charging 50 Pounds for an already known statistical fact. Bah! So I guess what you are saying is that a system like Little Acorns is just as good! Yes Timo only for METATRADER. I don't think it's available for Ninjatrader or Tradestation, but I wish it was! ;)

Hello, thanks for the info, I'm actually looking for KStrat learning materials which is kinda closed-group deal, and the fees to get the strategies and associated educational materials are quite high for me (approx. US $3000). I have the Pivot Scalper and the educational videos but not the ones that come with KStrat only.
