Few words before I start.
I will use the short H for HALLUCINATING.
There is a reason why %97 of the traders lose money.
If you think i make billions then you are H.If you think that I dont have losers then you are H.If you think that I will teach you everything I learned in 16 years and feed you with a spoon then H.
If you think that this method is foolproof then you are H.But then on the good side- am I making money consistently -YES.Do I work very hard every day - YES.
If you think that this method will give you a simple but- sell - hold then you are H.
Bottom line - you have to work, learn, study , spend thousands of screen hours before you can trade live- but hey- this is just my humble opinion.
 
Instead of one long post I will divide it into many short examples which makes life easier for me.If you read any of this then

This is the first example- as you can see right after the market opened we had a lower low lower high - fibs were good so i was looking for a short. once i got a confirmation on the renko 1-1 i got in with few ticks stop. got out half at the double bottom and the rest right above last resistance of 16.25. That was not a bad trade- definitely not a loser.

The first problem connected to set up RJay.RenkoHybridBarChart.X86. I put it to "C:\Users\adm\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\RJay.RenkoHybridBarChart.X86.dll" but I have no chance to use the type of bars…

In the thread Admis suggested to modify NT file @BarsTypes. Now my file has such sentence - public RenkoBarsType()
: base(PeriodType.Custom7)
and then I created a chart, I have possibility to choose additional bar chart like “Custom7”, but renko chart type disappeared..
For me as well as a lot of usual NT users difficult to understand where is a mistake…

First of all thank you for opening this thread.
In the thread Admis suggested to modify NT file @BarsTypes: No, It's not true!
I wrote about all BarType files, not about this one in particular. I think it was my fault, I used a shortcut without detailed description.
 
This is the reason you didn't understand me properly. If you are using a dll version of Renko Hybrid you cannot make any changes (in usual way, like edit a source file in notepad for example). To make the changes I've described you need a source file of RH. As you wrote for "usual NT users" it is almost impossible to make the required changes directly in dll file.
 
Don't make any changes in @BarsTypes.cs file! It is all about RenkoHybrid.dll file. Restore your original file @BarsTypes.cs.
Let me know where from you know you have a free slot: Custom7?
If you are absolutely sure the slot is not used, I'll try to adjust a RH dll file for you.

tradernate: I have not used it to trade with. I am going to start with just the trend indi. The manual for it (I just posted link to them) is very detailed about setups, chart timeframes it works best in, and all that. If that info ends up to be reasonably valid, that one indi and the setups might point to high probability trades based on the confluence of signals and triggers. Anyway, that's where I'm going to start.
