It is like in poker. You need strong and good fundamental knowledge. Without that you will control your emotions harder.

Will be interesting to watch

Yes...very well expressed!
Indeed, well said!

Went from a $500 account up to $4700 in 9 months.
There were times when it was up and down, but it was good,
Then the latest USD movement caught up with me, and just about wiped out the account.
So now I start again.
Same here. Practice makes perfect :)

What was the highest amount of money that you've lost? Thnx!

Yes that's true.. what I ment with fun was definitelly the feeling of getting the profit, this is the motivation you always need to have in mind...
Yeah, a lot of traders will feel satisfied if they get profit and will feel disappointed if get loss, include me. -
Which system are you using?
thnx
Fun is not the word I would use to describe forex trading. As a full time trader, I can only associate two words, either satisfying (when profiting) and disappointing (when not profiting). With the system I'm using, it's mostly a satisfying feeling for me. -
Not yet... thnx for your information.. but I have to think a bit more...
-
Wow, that's a decent amount of money ;)

That's a bit true...

I was also planning to open an account there...

I used this brokers couple months ago. I really liked the spreads on currencies I usually traded.

If you don't have fun while doing it there is no point....;)
-
You have to love it, otherwise you give up quickly... at the same time you have to be very strong and self controlled so that the emotions don't drive you over....

Volatility index is very low, that's why the market is extremely complacent; we can say that it is confident in the short term outlook, but very cautious in long term outlook.
What do you think, is trading safer in short term in should it be more cautious in long term?
Is VIX that useful in gauging perspective?

As expected Apple is the most valued technology company. Nevertheless, its P/E ratio is not as extreme (as the P/E ratio of Microsoft in 2000).
What would you expect?

The graphic depicts the balance sheets of the Federal Reserve, Bank of England, European Central Bank and the Bank of Japan.
What will surprise many is that the Fed's balance sheet has shrunk for nearly a year and, as a percentage of GDP, its balance sheet is not as large as the other major countries.
In any event, it is reasonable to expect the balance sheets of these major central banks to expand in the months ahead.
Does the balance sheet surprise you? What are your expectations?
