Yes, audio and video both working well. Right click on swf file, select option 'Open with....' and force open with VLC Player, it works at my end Win10 64 bit, VLC latest version.

do you still have the last version of flash installed? Latest version of VLC did not work this end (audio only and you can't skip around).

I can imagine some setup in a VM with any number of players and one of the previous salvaged Flash versions working - I might have to do that for now. The debugger from adobe works but it don't have a stop,play,pause button fast forward or position select.

Is there a self sufficient program that does not require the adobe flash install?

Hi Guys. Just an idea but maybe its worth starting a new thread called Fixing SWF Flash files.

If I remember correctly there have been a number of video series that have been made with flash or converted to flash.

As new or newly interested members find these downloads on the forum they will run into the same problem?

This technique is a favorite of Van Tharp of which there are plenty of videos online and a few books on library sites.

The software MTPredictor applies some of the core principles in the book and throws up trading forecasts of 2:1 and above all day long on multiple timeframes. Although, of course not all of them work out. It's fairly straight forward for beginners.

Chrome works for me, try FFox or Opera. anonfiles is a real basic website unlike all those spamy sites with Captcha crp and popups goofing all over the place. Highly recommended.

If I were you I would download everything now is you can't guarantee it will be there in a years time.

The WB machine has a habit of dropping stuff like images and spreadsheets after a while.

There was an indicator called something like HEW indicator not sure where you would download that but, its not an essential element at all from what Ian said.

Your question is a little on the broad side as there are so many ways people attempt to time the market and I don't know probably most of them.

Carolyn Boroden and Robert Miner have done a couple of good books on the subject.

Have a search on Z library and see what you find on the subject.

BTX BTX2lines

I was able to get the BTX compiled into mt4, the indicator will load into mt4 but doesn't display any information unfortunately, I'm guessing the OP1lock is no longer working

Its working in tradestation as designed if you use ver 8.x or in multicharts.

I am not sure about MT4. many indicatiors got killed off when build 600 came out a number of years back.

Looks expensive but, an interesting video.

try a clean install of windows 10, if that don't work then you might want to try DT v6.x which as nearly all the features of DT7 plus the Gann features and Matrix module.

The gann module is not standard in DT7 but can be unlocked, which you may have.

What ocean stuff are you after for what platform?

I am curious to know what others think of the following.

Are there some brokers who meet the following criteria.

1. Are not a bucket shop, have the backing of or a reputable parent company.

2. operate out of a jurisdiction with good governance such as ASIC, Switzerland etc.

3. Offer leverage of 100/1 or above on Forex, and good leverage on other instruments. (so that excludes EU and currently the UK brokers due to the ridiculous 'miffy' regulations.)

4. Allows CFD's

5. Is open to USA residents as well as rest of world.

Would be nice: A good range of markets such as IG index but that may be asking for too much.

Unless I somehow missed a long since deleted thread then I can say I've never seen any training for MTPredictor posted on this forum.

There are quite a few threads on this forum related to the software but never any PDF training files or videos. If anyone has the training videos , webinar's etc then there would be a ton of grateful MTP users :)

If your just interested in the Ocean plus package and are prepared to use a different platform other than MT4 then you could Multicharts and the tradestation Ocean plus version. This was built for tradestation 8.7 I believe but I am told it does work with Multicharts.

Multicharts can pull data from MT4 via DDE so if you can tolerate another charting app on your desktop then youget to use the native Ocean plus package.

I chatted to him on some other board years back and he said he won't be getting involved in any more updates - retired.

From what I can remember the BTX and BTX2 lines require the DLL to make them work, Yes even with the Mt4 port.

the original instructions that came with the whole Ocean+plus suite should have told you how to install it. It's possible that it no longer works with the latest MT4 version. After build 600 I remember all kinds of indicators stopped working and needed to be updated.

Position sizing cannot turn a losing strategy into a winner, though. Even Van Tharp says that.

Right. It was more of a confidence building excercise, hence why I suggested they try what they thought was a pretty poor system, of course we don't really know if it is poor, reasonable or even a good system until its been through the mill with the right MM overlay.

Would it not be nice to discover that a way of making money you long thought of as a lost cause was in fact a respectable winner had money management been applied earlier.
