Yeah, password protected. You can unzip the package. It extracts the folders, but won't extract the files. Try to extract the files and it asks for a password.

What is the password for the files? The folders in the zip are not protected, but the files are.

MT4 does not generally allow the backtester to work offline.

I have a whole series of indies/eas/scripts etc that I cannot find mq4 versions for. I am trying to teach myself to code, so I am interested in seeing the code as they perform functions that I am interested in learning. Here is a link is someone would be kind enough to decomp.

usd/cad ;the spread is very high for a scalper
eur/usd is the best for scalping,I don't seen the line to change
If you want this strategy to trade the EURUSD, then buy megadroid. It is the same basic strategy for EURUSD.

Has anyone been using this one?

Oh, don't misunderstand me. I am of the belief that the markets are quite logical. They seem random, but are not actually random. I am convinced there is a way to decode what the market is doing at all times, I am just not sure there is a way to put it into code that a computer can handle.

How to find out - when the market is in perfect condition?
If anyone ever finds that out, they will own all the money in the world. :)

To trade discretionarily, you have to be in the zone. I have done it before, and I know people who have. It is extremely unreliable because you have to be 100% focused and anything can break your focus and cause you to get on the wrong side of the market. The best thing to do when trading like that is to train yourself to stop trading the instant you make a loss. Not doing so is where people end up giving away all their earnings.

What it comes down to is being able to quantify the rules into system of binary logic. There will be lots of calculations, but every part must come down to a true/false scenario at some point in the calculation. That is where it is sometimes nearly impossible to quantify a system. Some parts will require layers upon layers of binary logic to arrive at a simple conclusion that a human can do by glancing at the chart.

I have had good luck with two EAs thus far. #1 on my list is the kangaroo EA, and #2 is the Wallstreet Forex EA. I have used the Forex Growth Bot, but the DD is too massive for my liking.

Don't bother with FAPT. It will just give your money away. I know because I have owned a copy back when i was clueless about EAs.

Yes PRO you were right, today Tom's Ea blew the account in full due to the protracted decline in the Aud/Usd. Dumped it. Do you suggest a good Ea to try?
Try the Kangaroo EA. I have been getting good results with it and have been using it on real money for about a year now. tulipFX(dot)c0m

I believe they offer a free trial for it too. I did the two week trial when I found it, and I found it to be useful. I have since moved on to an entirely different system, but for what i was doing at the time, it was great.

That file has two trojans in it.

I have been running the Roo for about a year. I like it. I can say that I have found out that one of the most important things about this EA is to make sure you have a broker with a high tick speed. I have heard of a few people that have been successful on brokers with lower tick speeds, but they seem to be very rare. I ran it on FXOpen (ECN and micro) and ended up getting a bunch of stoplosses. I had good results with FinFX (ECN only, avoid normal and micro), and have been having good results with IBFX (standard and micro).
Hope that helps

iexpertadvisor.com has a free version of their EA builder available.

Why not just go iexpertadvisor.com and pick up a free copy of a visual mt4 editor? I own this program and it is awesome.

Check it out. Look like some interesting trade software.

Well, so far as i have seen in the BTs, the only thing "quantum" about this EA is its quantum ability to chew its way through an account. :D
-
Using quantum code on any standard computer nowdays is not possible if you intend to gain the actual advantage of the quantum code. You must run it on a quantum computer. The whole point of a quantum system is that it bypasses the binary limitation of current computers. That is a physical limitation of the system and cannot be bypassed by any means other than an entirely new system.

Thanks for opening this up so we can look at how it works, and test to see if it works so we can decide whether or not to buy it. There is so much about this that screams scam that there is no possible way I would put money on it without testing it first.
