Gustofusion: That was rather poorly educated. Just removing some login info and the dll call is not gonna work. :)

Why such difference on total trades ??? any new filter added ?

First post updated with Indo Run 1.5 and Setfile as per my prior post.
 
Major Changes are:
 
- FFCAL based News Filter has been replaced with TSD News Filter. Just set your GMT Offset correct in Indo Run and select the currencies/news to be filtered, other setting remains. (Thanks to odrisb for supporting)
 
- Envelopes filter appears to drive well but requires more testing. The Setfile posted was run 2010 thus there might be gaps prior.
 
- Option to filter days not to trade over major news events (NFP's) (e.g. Monday after NFP can be selected not to trade as a News Filter won't cope)
 
- Breakeven and Trailing Profit (Stop to negative Profit)from a Certain Draw Down Point onwards shall give a softer stopout than SL or StopOut

Envelope Filter in addition to ATR helps driving below. I have made a run so far on Single Basket, control points for 2010 driving for 6.8% DrawDown. Below is the same setup on every tick for the first 3 month 2010 with a DD of 7.39%. Looks cool, let me do a full set and will up the thing shortly.

@expat: Yes you are right. The newfilter is good, but not good enough. What we need is to find a good combination of the other filters like MA, momentum etc. or to add a other filter, we must play with filters, like tomislav said.
 
May i have a idea to make the EA better, i will think about it and post my idea the next days.

Looking at the optimization...
 
While combining filters you might need to open up the filters individually, else the combined setting will be to strong, The chanllenge is to find the right ballance accordingly. E.g. MACurrentUp = 0.00025 set to 0.0005
 
Per my experience with these, you might be able to close gaps but open up new since the trades will be placed at different levels... Again, a matter of finding the right balance.
 
Best results so far, I have achieved with lower profit targets. E.g. Use ATRProfit which takes a specifically set profit while the filters kicks in. Now I am trying with Dynamic Profit where the Profit Target can be set in generally lower, then it will trail up further. Lower profits enables the EA to close a trade quicker, reduces DD, result in more trades and overall profits might just balance out in the end. Try with extrem lower settings then ramp up step by step.
 
You might want to focus as well on days/times not to trade. The sessions has been tried various ways already... I have been trying mainly the 24h approach blocking out some critical days e.g. Sundays/Mondays while the Market opens and effects from news of the prior Friday plus weekend may just kick in... End of the Month or first of a month are such candidates as well.

Well its getting to the point where I need to put a stop to it for now. As well having my mailbox full with inquiries, other EAs in the making, etc. I do need to focus and channel accordingly.
 
Moving forward I do further develop Indo Run and will distribute/support to those who also supported/will support me considerably and/or I am colaborating with closer.

Running since 14/11/2010 on 5k Demo / current version 1.7c
 
General Recommendations:
- Demo Test at least 4 weeks (longer is better)
- Don't rely only on the provided Setfiles. The results will vary from Broker to Broker. Is it due to spreads, range or whatever...
- Lower Spreads will as usual drive for a quicker basket closing but must not be an advantage towards the overall strategy. I have the EA running on Alpari and FXCM where Alpari is driving for a higher DD since trades are placed differently due to a different closing/opening... FXCM certainly does have higher spreads... Again, you need to find a setting for your Broker!
- Understand the strategy and the settings/effects applied!!! (Check setting triggers/details in the mq4 file while opening in the editor)
- Always use the News Filter standalone or in combination with other Filters!!!
- Account Limits: 10k for 0.1Lot; 1k for 0.01Lot => Leverage as high as possible e.g. 1:400/500 / On a Leverage of 1:200 halfen the Lotsize or double the account
- Don't trade month end/first. (can be set in the EA)
- Don't trade ADP/NFP and Monday after NFP (can be set in the EA)
- Use a SL per trade, consolidated StopOut or Stop trailing
- Use Single Basket while getting started
- Set your GMTOffset correctly
- Newbies might reconsider using till the we have got more experience and set to confidence!
