Your probably right but since im already into forward test two weeks might as well go a little longer.

Do you have a good EA that you would recommend for live trading? If you do please share so we can have a profitable EA that is proven.

Just for further insight; I been trying it on my live figfx acct on and off and it doesn't quite trades as on demo, it trades alot less but I dont have enough info to determine if it is profitable on live acct yet.

The problem with FIGFX is that they have excellent spreads on major pairs : 1.

But regarding their scalping policies, i don't think they will allow you to trade with this EA LIVE, because it's very similar to indrafxscalping (usdcad too with almost same hours and same strategy) who is banned with FIGFX :-?

spread usdcad and usdchf fixed 3

TF M15

SL 15 and TP 6

Hours 23 and 7

cek 600 usdcad and 850 usdchf

account grow to 487$, 47$ profit

 

lot 0.72 usdcad

lot 0.58 usdchf

 

24 trades, 23 winners 1 SL (-8.87)

I will continue next week with these settings (thanks Ezbusiness)

 

If we can find broker with 2 pips spread or less, the results would be better of course

Thanks for the useful info on figfx, I have been scalping with them for about a yr now without any problems but after reading there scalping policies I will send them a request to review my acct and tell me if I am withing their policy. I was surprised to find FapTurbo and Shocker were banned since they don't abuse the system or cheat. I guess I will find out what they tell me.

First let me start off by correcting myself, The broker I am using with the results posted here is FigFx not Insta Forex. I am also testing Insta Forex but results are not as good as FigFx as you can see on my latest resulst update. I will update live results for all three Brokers I am forward testing.

EzBusiness, for most reliable BT you should use Alpari ru platform. There is NO other MT4 platform got more reliable history in ALL fx world for the time being. Just make sure to get it from here: alpari-forex.com

 

There are some other tryings with tick data form dukas and others (and converting to mt4 history) but they are NOT reliable - there are big holes in the data.

Well todays trades were on thursday, friday i will not trade it. I already turned off platforms.

Ok I have tested the EA for a full week with three brokers:

FXDD: CEK 5000, start 23, stop 2, tp 4, Beg bal $100 ending bal $105.40 no open trades. CEK is set to conservative low risk.

Insta Forex: CEK 200, start 23, stop 7, tp 4, Beg bal $100 ending $87.31, Current Draw Down $7.85

FigFx: CEK 2000, start 22, stop 7, tp 4, Beg bal $300 ending $623.57, Current Draw Down $ 71.90

all other settings not specified set to default.

I will leave these same settings for one more week then I might lower the stop time by 2hrs as I can see the only losing trades happen in the last couple hrs. I will update next week on all three brokers.

I will update after a week of forward testing. My broker is Insta Forex and my settings are 23-7 manual suggest 23-1 but when I backtest I found additional hrs gave better results. acct is up $ 145.00 in two days started with $300. Very impressive results so far. Alot better than backtest.

can I use it on real Money acc?

I am using it on very small live acct just to report performance here to forum, i would suggest you demo it first for at least 30days until you get the settings that give you the best performance. Then if your making money on demo and you want to go live, then you know what to expect. Just my thoughts.

Here is what I got: I decided to run on Insta Forex hrs 23 to 7, tp 4 sl 35 as this is where my optimization gave me best results with lowest drawdown. It has made 60 pips so far i have 1 open trade -5 pips usd/cad. Oviously this is only one day but I did notice it made some wise entries after the big moves in the market today. We'll see what happens next few days.

I will keep posting results as they come available.

Hey guys there is no need to get upset we all have different opinions but were here to try and help each other find profitable Ea's as a group not to fight or argue with each other. I don't always agree with everyone's posts but I don't go off on them because of their opinions. If you don't believe this is a good EA thats ok some of us are just doing a little more testing. Hope nobody gets upset because of this posts were suppose to be working together not fighting each other.

I am setting up a platform just to test this EA. I will be forward testing it over the next few weeks. I completely respect everyone's opinion of this EA, i'm just not quite ready to throw it away after we waited so long to get a copy. I will keep the forum up to date on performance.

News Filter

Can one of the programmers in the forum try modifying this EA with a News filter like was donr on MegaDroid and Primeval and shocker. According to developer it needs to avoid any high impact news so when we are backtesting were not able to get proper results sinse we are not avoiding news.

PS I also Noticed the comment on this EA is (EURGBP 2) which doesn't make sense with the currencies it uses, maybe somone can look at the code to see if it is copied from some other Asian scalper and they never modified comment on it.

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to say that I installed the XPP ea on two platforms Tadawul and FigFx. I am using Demo accts on both, i set it up on 7/30 and have not touched it since. Both my accts are up about 1000 pips. Now I realize that these are demo accts but the strategy seems to work. It is however a long term strategy, sometimes i would look and system looked like it had a bad entry with lots of draw down but eventually it would come around to close in profit.

I am not saying that this is a great system but from what i have seem it is not bad.

It has just fired another trade for me and again has not T.P'd the postiion after going as far as 32 pips into profit. It is attached to a Gomarkets demo. I think it has a bug. My T.P. is set to 5 pips - there is no ambiguity.

It seems to me that your broker has a minimum TP or a freeze level which wont allow an EA to place a IP or SL within certain pips from open price. Contact your broker and ask what their freeze level and minimum TP is and change it on your settings. Also you can say place a 15 pip TP and a 5 pip Trailing and that will probably help also. Try these settings on a backtest first to see if they help.
