I believe the download link for the original Cable Run II is still working (post #66). Since then people started all kinds of modifications. Some try to make it work for day sessions. Some added tons of indicators to make it trade better. I don't blame you for being confused by all the different versions. I believe some are making money from those versions and some got their accounts blown away. I don't see people posting follow-ups. So, I am sharing my findings from trading live accounts (I am managing 3 accounts). Keep in mind that even with fixed step 17, historically, you will not blow your account, including those days I called them "massacres", if you keep the proper ratio of lot size and account size (0.1 lot for $5,000). My manual manipulations are meant to reduce paper loss and give me a quicker recovery. Any modification can survive through February 2009 will be a good one.

Been there, done that. Price action and all. I am just not as good or smart as you are.
Without an indicator I had no clue where to enter or exit these trades.

I bought 2 licenses of Xtreme Zones, one for trading and one for system development. It is the best investment ever.

2) I funded $5,000 in each account to trade live and proved it works in live accounts, so you don't have to.
3) I tested brokers, currency pairs, trading hours, settings, news time hedging, so you don't have to.

Today's trades (8 only) are clean. No cancelled orders. Slippage was reasonable. More arbs are still coming in, but I need to go get a life.

There is nothing to buy (as yet), but a recommended book by Goldsmith for $60 or so. People rave about it, but it's a new trick for an old dog to me. Basically, you get futures level II data from your broker (if available) so you know if big orders are buying or selling. Aside from that, you study the global macro, sign up for forexlive.com news letter, etc.

Nope. It looks interesting, as does Trend Raptor, but I wouldn't have a hope of educating it.
Their newer EAs have dll security, and I don't have a decompiler that works on latest builds of MT4.
Unfortunately, I am not smart enough to break dlls. If somebody IS smart enough to break DLLs and has latest version of mql4 decompiler, they should contact me.
Then if somebody sends me the EA, perhaps we can coordinate an education!
Pyramid is good in the sense that it isn't all that smart and can just hedge, so the market can't find ways to kill it like they can scalpers like Megadroid. Seems like soft4forex new bots have some "secret" sauce that they don't want to unleash which is why they keep the license count down.
 
Of their EAs I educated Pyramid, Cash Hammer v3, and Lucky Candles v3. Some people were kind enough to ask me to educate them.
Pyramid is better than than the other two. All of them are hedging EAs. You can probably find download links for Lucky Candles and Cash Hammer in II if you search hard enough.... but in my experience, Pyramid has the better strategy. They don't even offer Lucky Candles anymore.
The latest version of Pyramid 8.01 seems to have been a fork of the 5.2 code to make it trade differently, which is why they still offer 5.2
 
I like their EAs because they are safe to use,... even if they don't make as much money as you would like every month.

I have nothing negative to say about star but at the same time people voice opinions and not everyone will be happy with the same system... so, imho all opinions should be heard in these forums. You know yourself that you "cannot save the world". I read your opinions and I read others opinions... to each his own.:)

there were a lot of people looking for an EA that will trade the Rubicon indicator (including myself),
and I wasn't able to find any, except for that fxtool thing which requires a monthly subscription...
so I hired a programmer to do it for me,

Edit: In order for it to work you will have to rename the Rubicon indicator to this "Rubicon_Indicator_with_alert.ex4" The Rubicon indicator can be found on this forum, if you don't already have it.

Don't waste your time or money. It is a repaint indicator. Looks good for marketing after the fact. Its live signals suck.
