    I'm using euronis v4200, but very often I get the following message: "Trade is disabled: Order closed by hand". But I didn't close any trade by hand, and so does no other EA close them.

     

    So, is that suppossed to happen or some kind of bug?

    actually i have the same problem but the issue is that Euronis actually closes other orders including trade that are not related to Euronis and this is a big issue for me as i trade a lot of EA :(

     

    I'll try to look in the code what's wrong but if an experienced coder can have a look into it that would be a big help. I definitly dont want Euronis to close my Thunderbolt or MDP trades for example

    hmmm maybe it's not euronis but triangular price arbitrage which is messing up as i see close arrow on the chart on which it is set up despite it has not traded yet...

    Is EAKain a clone of MDPro? Do you see both of them generating "cloned" trades?

     

    Which of the EAs you mentioned you would call most reliable, consistent? Could you name two or three robots?

    MDP definitively, Euronis i need more forward testing but live is allready very good but i think this EA has a DLL memory leak because the MT4 on which it is installed eats 500Mo of memory alone.

     

    Eakain is a clone but does not trade in the exact same fashion so sometime i have same trade and sometime MDPro takes a trade but EaKain does not and the reverse as well.

    Which EAs combine your EA bundle?

     

    I use a lot of EA.

     

    MDP all pairs, Thunderbolt, EaKain, Primeval, PipAndroid, Triangular Price Arbitrage, SuperTurbo (might not keep this one), Accumulator III, Thunderstorm, Caspian EA, BossEa, Euronis (all pairs), Evolution.

     

    I might add (90% chances) M5G (still testing with current available set file), Mootem Beta (need to modify the EA so it has magic numbers and automatic pip lock, i do it manually right now and made +115$ trading only .01 lots in 7 trading days) , DragonPip Ultimate version. Maybe Freedom on some pair in a few months (15% chances as i'm really not convinced right now)

    i got rid of fusion on my live account. Definitly too risky and there is absolutly no build in risk management.

     

    For instance a good scalping EA would have tried to close the loss from €$ at the recent peak (like several other EA i have running do)

     

    My EA bundle makes now around 3% daily (at least with my new settings since monday) but fusion made me loose more than 4% in two days... Thanks but no thanks.

     

    I handle my EA like i would handle a salesman. If he dont bring the money, i fire his a** !

    I do not know if scarface will permit me to post this ea in his thread, and If he disaproves I willl delete it. Its my personal mod of well known martingale ea, i reccomed you test it on your alpari uk demo account play around with setting and find out what you like and share with us, i run it on m1.

    and another kudo for Cyrillic ;)

    We will see, I will run it on demo for two weeks, so far it made 5%, not every trade it makes is tiny, it all depends on price action. Very interesting concept indeed thou.

    Edit.

    Never mind this is crap, it goes into huge loosers very fast it need a close mechanism.

    there is a close mechanism with a SL but by default it is set to 0...

     

    I have a test account running on it with +90 done and -250 floating with default settings. I'm letting it run to see what would be that best SL.

     

    Should run a backtest :-/ but my server is allready overloaded because of one EA that has a memory leak :-/

    Dont be too harsh on hirider. Remember that there was a rate hike from the FED on thursday so yes it had a big loss (in closed it before it reaches it's maximum loss for obvious technical reasons)

     

    EA have no idea about rate hike or news or stuff like that. You should allways be prepared to close manualy trade if you KNOW that it will be a big time loser.

    I think I was able to get the original copy working (not the educated one that doesn't seem to work). It's a little bit technical and complex, but here is what I did.

     

    1) I have a web server setup and created a file at: http://www.URLNAME.com/access/frwc.php

    2) In the frwc.php file I entered this number 35510265

    3) Save and close the file

    4) Open up your hosts file (C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) in order to redirect to your web server

    5) Add a line similar to mine: *.*.*.* http://www.forex-robot-world-cup.com

    where *.*.*.* is the IP address of your web server

    6) Drop to DOS (START -> Run - cmd)

    7) Type ipconfig /flushdns

    8) Start Metatrader, load your EURUSD 5 min chart, load HiRider. It will fail to authenticate.

    9) Push F7 and click OK.

     

    I'm not sure if this will work for you, but it's definitely working for me. Backtesting worked and live trading is working.

     

    Damn, you are right, i forgot the last step. This is what i did a long time ago for Megadroid but i totaly forgot this last step. Thanks for reminding me of this ;)

    someone put a sniffer on the frwc webpage so we get all responses.

    lol good thinking but it is not a simple as you think to do despite the response being sent in http and not https... It is one thing to sniff your own communication, it is another so sniff other ppl communication.
