anyone still having success with this one ?
well look up my post just above yours it is not that old, it is ? Now account is 22000 but demo... I have to find a broker that accept more than 2 lots opened at a time and with minimum of 0.01 lot... Alpari micro account will not authorise bigger than 2 lots opened at a time.

Look up those results using manual close of trades most of the time.

Note that i have removed all yen pairs because the EA refuses to trade .01 lot and the calculation is wrong on all yen pair (dont see why)

The following contains version with the expiry notice and non register notice removed for all the 5 robots.

lol, i was looking for the kudos option... Well, thanks then...

No SL ...hmmm :)
hidden stop loss, you can see some trade closing in loss usually twice the average gain so with the 80%+ success rate this is a profitable EA

The EA expired... Seems like the education was not perfect :( Too bad because Quantum Pip, plus and Mach seems profitable on demo...
Anyone has a new version or full educated version ?
I somewhat managed to educated Quantum Pips and Quantum News
Same file on both but mirrored

Any martingale EA has the potential to burn an account. Nothing can prevent it plain and simple.
Do you remember in october 2008 when the poundyen made a daily 2000 pips and when other pair had during the whole summer an average of 300 pips move ? You have no way to tell that this will not occur again.
I'm not saying that martingale EA cannot be profitable. On the contrary, many can be very profitable but one has to monitor them closely to prevent it to go in the baaaaaad trade.
quoting myself ^^
Well Hedgehog could be a successfull EA but it fails completly in terms of money management.
For instance i have a trade open now on EURGBP that went during the day in full profit but instead of taking profit, the EA let it run for no reason.
In fact, the EA seems to wait for the market to reverse but that could never happen.
I'll check the new version if there is one...

It looks quite impressive and might no be curve fitting as backtest has been done over 10 years (yet one can put whatever he want in a DLL)

Re: Super Hedging EA Educated
There isn't any way to make a backtest? Unfortunately I cant't make a backtest with it because I get a message:" Alert: This expert advisor cant be tested by Strategy Tester" :(If I remove this from the code It open a position and don't move!
Anyone, who more clever than me, can fix it, please! ^:)^
Thanks.
(sorry my bad English)
i haven't looked it up but this is probably an EA that trade two pairs in hedging mode hence it cannot be backtested. There is not way to fix this except if you are ready to reprogram from scratches MT4.

Re: Bogie-HedgeHog ,, Please see real money results!
Group been runnin this EA over a year I havnt heard of any blowups.. Unless you on group and runnin it then you really arnt knowledgeable on the subject.. Sorry.
Tell you what.. I just built yet another test machine last night and I will start the EA tonight and post results.. I will probably use a GoMarkets demo if thats OK..
But really this is a product of the Yahoo group and most discussions should stay with that group. Its a wide open public group which anyone could join if they wanted. They have several other EA that are doing pretty good as well..

Re: Bogie-HedgeHog ,, Please see real money results!
Isn't this EA martingale? If you run a test starting Jan-2000, account will get wiped out pretty quick. What am I missing?
nothing, this is a martingale EA and your account will get wiped out when the proper condition are in place.

This had a potential 1200 pips loss and with a lot size of .5 this is nothing less than a potential 6000$ loss... I dont know what was the size of the account at the time but would you hold a position going wrong for so long if you have a proper management system ?
