I'm not sure if I have all of the settings correct in the indicators. There have been quite a few modifications and changes since the beginning. I have downloaded V3 from the first page and used the templates from there.
 
I would appreciate it if one of the experienced members of this thread would take a look at my template and confirm that all is correct.
 
I'm visually challenged so I have personalised a template to suit my needs. I thought that some others might like to use it as well so here is a link to the complete setup. I take no credit at all for the codeing of the indicators, I have just modified them for my own needs.

Today I share with my Indo friends my proprietary Trend Pullback System. I have been working on it for a long time and think it's pretty special. It is a range bar system and has the uncanny ability to often identify the exact bottom bar in a countertrend pullback and enter on the open of the next bar! From an entry standpoint, it doesn't get much better...

I am happy to share with you all. I have a top level coder who I will be paying to potentially create an EA starting
Thursday. I hope that you all will take a close look at this system and suggest improvements. Particularly I am interested in things like Trade Management and filtering of bad signals. Any ideas appreciated. Now is the time to do it, before the EA specialist begins. Oh, by the way, if it works out OK, I will be sharing the EA to all the folks here with my compliments so let's make this the best system ever !

Well its getting to the point where I need to put a stop to it for now. As well having my mailbox full with inquiries, other EAs in the making, etc. I do need to focus and channel accordingly.

Running since 14/11/2010 on 5k Demo / current version 1.7c
 
General Recommendations:
- Demo Test at least 4 weeks (longer is better)
- Don't rely only on the provided Setfiles. The results will vary from Broker to Broker. Is it due to spreads, range or whatever...
- Lower Spreads will as usual drive for a quicker basket closing but must not be an advantage towards the overall strategy. I have the EA running on Alpari and FXCM where Alpari is driving for a higher DD since trades are placed differently due to a different closing/opening... FXCM certainly does have higher spreads... Again, you need to find a setting for your Broker!
- Understand the strategy and the settings/effects applied!!! (Check setting triggers/details in the mq4 file while opening in the editor)
- Always use the News Filter standalone or in combination with other Filters!!!
- Account Limits: 10k for 0.1Lot; 1k for 0.01Lot => Leverage as high as possible e.g. 1:400/500 / On a Leverage of 1:200 halfen the Lotsize or double the account
- Don't trade month end/first. (can be set in the EA)
- Don't trade ADP/NFP and Monday after NFP (can be set in the EA)
- Use a SL per trade, consolidated StopOut or Stop trailing
- Use Single Basket while getting started
- Set your GMTOffset correctly
- Newbies might reconsider using till the we have got more experience and set to confidence!

It's not set-n-stone. i select those hours based on NY afternoon till the new day begin. The point of using the time settings is to avoid strong momentum and ride the small swings usually happening NY pm session to before Tokyo 9am. So, couple of hours difference won't make much difference.

It's default settings from EA posted on first page, post# 1. But, changed the Time filter indicate above. That is the only thing changed.

Try to use selective hours of trading and do not run 24/5. Much safer and still steady income.

Note: I had to choose 0.05 and 0.1 lot for this broker due to broker's mininum lot size limitation. ** Tadawul broker won't allow lot size less than 0.05
 
 
4xTraderz described well for optimizing this system. He trade iWin with strength of the trend during UK session. This post, I trade low ranging hours, NY afternoon to beginning of Asian session. So, you can pick and choose. But, you have to experiment with different settings to fit your trading style.

Thank you eggzactly for sharing the code. There are a few minor errors in the mq4, regarding the GMToffset calculation and the spread display, which are fixed now. The system backtested ok on GoMarkets. I did not have the right time window to forward test it, but I think it should be ok.

Default ATR 7. The ATR pre-periods on the later tekno versions I've tried from 16 - 14. Is there a better combo? I've also had TP issues with the later tekno versions.
Guys if you're using 5 digit brokers you should use teknomage versions and Indo Run versions. Throw the rest away (Cable Muruku 4, Cable Larikan Ok 24 HR) as they will give you errors (error 130 usually). If you're on a 4 digit broker you're probably ok. I've tried Cable Larikan ok 24HR on a 5 digit broker with real money. Results not good.

Give the thing some time to load (a minute or two) since it needs to load a lot of data...
 
In the Expat Dash you can switch calculation methods by:

(set all 3 times 1 stands for 5m timeframe, up to 7 for a week - 3x1 for ADV and 3x6 not ADV)

Please include DLLs and .mqh library files.
 
In may cases, the DLLs are not necessary, as they are usually added to protect the files from being used by anyone other than the original purchaser.
 
However, there are instances where the DLLs are necessary in order to calculate the internal mathematical equations of the indicator or EA.
 
To save time, please include everything. If the DLL callouts are for security measures only, they will be removed and you will be able to run the indicator or EA WITHOUT ANY DLLs.
 
I will do my best to work as fast as possible. Hopefully, I will be able to keep everyone happy.
