I read the recent Indo-Investasi Wyckoff thread with great interest and am pleased to see the strong interest in Wyckoff methodologies.

Well let me check my DVD discs for any Wyckoff related material that I may have.If you have an interest in Wyckoff, good on you! I dare say it will be time and effort well spent.
Wyckoff techniques can be very profitable if you know how to implement it's logic into your trading system. But Wyckoffian logic has a long and complex learning curve, however it's definitely worth the effort and time to learn and study. So if you have the opportunity to learn from Wyckoffian experts like Weis, Dayton and the master Richard himself,then you should grab the opportunity.Like I said, it will prove to be a worthwhile,even noble and probably lucrative effort.

Now regarding so called "repainting".
MTF indicators will update/redraw all bars on the lower time-frame that represent the open higher time-frame bar until the higher time-frame bar closes. This is normal and expected behavior for an MTF indicator.
You can use the 'xSuperTrend Alert' Indicator to give alerts for any timeframe you wish. You will have to add it to your chart in addition to the xSuperTrend indicator you are using.
All bars on the chart associated with a higher time-frame bar that is open will continue to update with the current status of the higher time-frame supertrend until that bar closes. Krishna, I think it would be easier for you to understand the nature of MTF indicators and the repainting which it is often accused of, is to just remember "that MTF indicators update/redraw all bars on the lower time-frame that represent the open higher time-frame bar until the higher time-frame barcloses. This is normal and expected behavior for an MTF indicator." That's a quote from Xaphod himself.

Thank you buddy boy.It's quite rare for a vendor to explain that his indicators are Ninjascript ready (most don't even bother to code it into their system indicators),let alone provide anyone with a video on how to use the NT Strategy Wizard to program an automated system clearly, so kudos to David Zielinski.Still, at USD300, it's kinda steep.

Recently I received the updated Trend Heat Map indicator from Ninjacators. Back in the day I uploaded the original Trend Heat Map indicator for I-I forum.However back then it would not work for Renko
and custom bar types. But the general trading community really took to it and this forced Ninjacators to work to resolve this compatabily issue. Well they have finally fixed The renko bar issue. Now you can use the Trend Heat Map Indicator for NinjaTrader with any bar type you choose… like renko, range including custom bar types!
Apart from the bartype issues, many knowledgeable traders wanted to build an automated trading strategy around the Trend Heat Map indicator.The original version was not strategy compatible, but this updated version now is.Please make sure that you remove the earlier version of the ncatTrendHeatMap indicator from your NinjaTrader before importing this new file ncatTrendHeatMapCalls. If you are suffiently proficient with Strategy Wizard you can now program a strategy around the Trend Heat Map indicator.This strategy version of the indicator will allow you to call the following values:
-SumBullWeak
-SumBullStrong
-SumBearWeak
-SumBearStrong
-SumNeutral
The strategy itself is not included,so you will need to use your own programming skills with Ninjatrader Stategy Wiazard (or that of a coder) to assist you in creating your own strategy.Please throughly read the included manual.This is clearly a trend trader tool.This indicator builds a “Heat Map” of multiple trend environments over different periods in real time. It will not only measure if there is a trend and but also in which direction the trend is and also measure the intensity of the trend.
All this information’s will be cumulated to one major “Heat Map” to give you a quick overview about the trend environment over multiple periods as well as the total overview about the Cumulative Trend Direction.
You need to learn about the Single/Cumulative Trend Barometer and the meanings of the different colors. The indicator has many customised settings too so please check the manual if unsure.

Well let me check my DVD discs for any Wyckoff related material that I may have.If you have an interest in Wyckoff, good on you! I dare say it will be time and effort well spent.
Wyckoff techniques can be very profitable if you know how to implement it's logic into your trading system. But Wyckoffian logic has a long and complex learning curve, however it's definitely worth the effort and time to learn and study. So if you have the opportunity to learn from Wyckoffian experts like Weis, Dayton and the master Richard himself,then you should grab the opportunity.Like I said, it will prove to be a worthwhile,even noble and probably lucrative effort.

Once thought to be a lost art in futures,forex and stock trading, but nowadays seemingly making a bit of a comeback since it's heydays in the 60s and 70s, Ichimoku Kinko Hyo certainly presents the trader with another weapon in technical analysis.And if you are using an analytical tool that most others refuse to learn or use then it could be the beginnings of a significant edge for you.
 
 
Here is a personal fav of mine. It's a very practical book on all aspects of Ichimoku and quite possibly the definitive guide on modern Ichimoku.
