I think there is a small bug in Ultimate 2... there is no SL in EU for this trade & yet it still close itself..

 

0.00000 value is on TakeProfit (Not in SL).

It ocurr when S1 and Agressive logic open a trade.

Hi Romano, well, actually Forex Rebellion has no signals in the common sense... you can see an alert saying:consider entering a short / long trade. So it is UP TO YOU to enter or to wait for a better formation. If you stick to the rules then you can become "a good trader". But this presupposes hard work, you won't do it in just several weeks. Sad to say but a lot of us "would be traders" have no patience to get into the process of immersing and really accepting that this is a long process to go. Just like you would not study medicine or nanotechnology in 2 weeks, 2 months and even 2 years so is it the same with forex. And let me tell you that I was also thinking in "doing forex in some weeks". I learned the hard way to be really patience and doing forex in a serious manner. To come to this "insight" took me - you won't believed it - some years!

I use EMA 5 blue line. I put the SL a few pips (3 to 10 pips) over or under the line. It's not exact, but works so far.

However, you need know when avoid a trade. Technical analysis background and trading experience is required. (ex.: don't trade on retracements or on quiet session for the pair, etc.).

Well, still early to auto open trades. We'll see how this works.

By now, I did a mod version with some improvements.

- You can change SL, TP and Pending Orders price, directly from the chart.

- The EA add pre-defined TP & SL on market & pending orders.

- Added Multi TF trend info (H1, H4 & D1) on screen to avoid trade against the major trend. (This is only for visual purpose, you got alerts based on original strategy. When you got the alert on H1, you can confirm whether the trend is valid or if it's only a low TF retracement).

By the way, last version of Dragon Ultimate (my Dragonpips mod) includes Range Filter. Using it, you can avoid loss trades like yours on Sep 23. 8-)

It also close all trades on the predefined target. Mostly the big cycle is around max 1100 pips and small cycle around 300 pips and mediam cycle like today is around 500 pips. During it way up, the small wave down normally is around 150 pips or 200 pips.

The trail EA is just closed all trades in aroudn 504 pips profits, it does better job than me to watch the profits.

 

What the EA does is, like the EquityMoneytrail.mq4

This is an EA, that you put on any chart to trail your equity, when you are away from computer. Like my buy operation last night, was up o 500+ pips this morning, now it is down to 255 pips. So I made the Equity trail EA based on steinitz Equity trail robot. If I hade this Ea, I shall stopout on at least 400 pips profits.

Utimate 2 is difficult to do a testing.

 

Overall results is that Ultimate 2 is not as profitable as Ultimate 1 as more criteria.

On the 4 strategies, the losses is even out across all 4.

 

Will do more research....

If do you use default settings and disable the Range Filter, you got the same results due the core logic to open trades has been not touched.

Add Range Filter you got less losses. (Try BT on EUR/USD on wed 23 and you will see no trades this day).

Is not really fast and easy to explain this.

You will know which strategy is not working seeing journal tab when you make backtests. [s1] to [s4] is showed when trade is open. If you see that the same strategy trades are much more losers than others... is not dificult but is not for newbies either. I trust that you can make it, if you put the proper attention.

Maybe you decide that all strategies are good, and the bad trades are due to changes in market behavior or the use of different time ranges.

Anyway, the options for strategies is, and it's better than if is not. ;)

Which Strategy is the default? Also is the DP original strategy still inside?

 

Will test it on demo also.

Looking forward for testing ultimate 2 version.

Original logic inside Dragonpips use 4 strategies.

I only allow to you control which you want use. If you want use default strategies use default settings (all strategies = true).

Original logic was been not touched. Still inside. ;)

Ok Boys...

New Dragon Ultimate updated version:

- New options Use_Strategy1 to 4, which allow enable or disable the differents 4 strategies used to open trades. New code added for identify strategies on trade comments.

If one strategy is losing too much on any pair you can disable it. Now you can see which strategy is used for each trade in trade comments and on the journal tab when you make backtests too.

- New code added for Range Filter. It allow avoid open trades, on trending markets generated by high impact news produced at the dormant session (end of NY session and begin of Asian session).

- New option added to close all opened trades at specific GMT time.

- Deep cleaned and optimized code. findMyOrders() function (was deleted) was not used and occupied too much memory space and processor resources, which slows down the EA. Others routines was optimized too. Now is very fast (almost Mach 3 :o ).

Their tests are run on FxOpen with 22-24 EURGBP respectively 23-03 EURCHF:

 

I've just installed the FxOpen client and I can confirm that their GMT offset is +3. So, unless I'm somehow mistaken, the EA creators run it with 19-21 GMT EURGBP and 20-00 GMT EURCHF as the trade interval.

You only confuses people.

If it is the case, can trade at bigger timeframe like H1?

All indicators got the signals from 5M and 15M TF in predefined way. Only MA's values are taked from current TF.

You can use on any TF, but only change MA's values.

Backtests from 09/01/09 on EURCHF. Spread during backtests 3.8 pips.

Fixed Lot size 0.4 lots. Max Trades=3 on both.

EA works like explained before. It contains 2 EA's, master and slave. Master EA goes to M1 chart of broker with unfiltered data(JadeFX for example) and slave goes to m1 of filtered data broker.

So when price on unfiltered data moves master EA sends order to slave to open trade in that direction, cuz price will likely go there.

 

I dont know how can that work on live with , slippage, latency...etc. :-?
