I have had your mod for a couple of weeks now and it has been working great. I noticed this morning when I opened MT4 on my laptop that the EA is not working (displays an X). I restarted MT4 and reloaded the EA on the charts, but still doesnt work. It

DOES work on my VPS installation. As far as I know, nothing has changed on my PC. Any ideas? Thanks!

I once read somewhere this following quote:

This is what happens to most traders. They spend all their valuable time and energy in search and research of strategies, indicators and EA's. While they forget to do what they are supposed to do, namely to trade.

 

There's no single strategy, or indicator that will work all the time. And regardless of how long one has tested and varified a strategy, today or tomorrow it will fail. The only thing a trader can do is to learn to trade just by doing it - actively with real money. If one remains consistent and shows persistence he will discover what works for him, what he can predict and what he does wrong. But he will fail to acheive this state until he decides to trade and quits his search of the "perfect strategy".

 

No offence to anyone - just my humble opinion.

Please correct me if I am wrong, if I want to open multiple position in single currency pair with each on different setting I will have to follow this sequence :

 

1st) prepare multiple currency pair window with each window have its on specific Quik_trailing setting

2nd) open new position in window which have the quik_trailing setting that I am going to use

 

Is this the right and the only way ?

All positions in a single pair use the same values.

HyperTrade core logic is exact the same that other versions. (And has the same bugs ;)) )

It's only marketing.

This EA do NOT open trades.

Quik ShutDown is a Expert Advisor designed to close trades at a specified server time.

ShutDown_Hour: Server time to close trades. (Hour and Minutes)

Close_All_Pairs:

True, close all trades opened in all pairs.

False, only close all trades opened on the current pair in which is attached Quik ShutDown.

Note: To close all trades in all pairs, just open a new chart and attach Quik ShutDown with the correct settings.

is it possible to make the EA handle ALL open orders?

 

i would like to get it to trail all my open orders regardless of the pair.

 

that way we can load it onto 1 chart and it will just run for everything

 

maybe having a on/off switch would be a good idea for those that dont want this feature

 

or does this feature already exist?

Quik Trailing is my own developed Trailing Stop EA which I use regularly for manual trading.

His functions make of this the most powerfull Trailing EA on the earth planet. 8-)

This EA has three separate functions: Set Breakeven, Trailing Stop and Scaling Out.

* Works on 4 and 5 digits Broker.

* Works on ECN Brokers.

* Magic number auto-created internally. Works in differents pairs without interfere others EA.

* Switch ON/OFF for each function independently.

* Customizable percent for Scaling Out.

Quik_Trailing automatically adapts to 4 and 5 digits brokers. It works on all MT4 brokers.

ShowInfo. Set it to false, allows turn all the text off, but it still runs in the background.

AlertSound. Set it to true, emits a sound when First TakeProfit is hit.

Set it to False, for use 1 digit in Lot Size calculations for First TakeProfit percent.

Scaling out

IE if you work with 0.04, 70% will be rounded to a 0.03.

If you do not want to use this feature, just turn off.

Use_TrailingStep

Use this function for "trailing" the stoploss when Start_Trailing_At pips profit is reached.

TrailingStep is the amount of pips that will be used to move the Stoploss.

If you use 5, the stoploss will move 5 pips for each 5 pips that the price move in profits, after that Start_Trailing_At pips profit is reached.

Set_Breakeven

Use this function for lock profits.

LockPips is the number of pips -with respect to entry point- in which the EA will put the stoploss when Set_BreakevenAt is reached.

Magic Number

Quik_Trailing works with trades using magic number = 0. (Manual Trades)

This means you can have multiples Trades opened on the same and/or different pairs, set-up the parameters different for the

different charts, and place trades with different stops and TP's depending on which chart/TF/pair you have a signal and that

the EA's WON'T interfere with each other or others EA's.

Maybe someone will find these useful, downloaded from a website for free.... Not my words below:

 

The first one is probably one the best multi-timeframe, multi-pair trading assistant

tool. It'll you the behavior of 4 different pairs on 3 different time frame at once. You can

see exactly how the trends of these pair are going to be and you can know exactly when

to enter at the very beginning of each trend. Sound good doesn't it?

 

The second one is our in-house developed software. You don't need to know how to calculate

the resistance, the support or the pivot point. Just enter the price, our software will calculate

automatically for you.

 

And the last one is another in-house developed software used to calculate Fibonaci level.

Again, just enter the price, everything will be done immediately for you.

Thanks for your modification on the EA. I really like how you make it possible to shift the SL and TGT just by dragging the lines.

 

One question, what did you use for the Multi TF trend info? Is it based on crossing of moving averages, SAR parabolic, stochastic, MACD or some other indicators? I would like to know so that I can make a judgement call on the trend info.
