I have made some backtests with the default settings, i doesn't look really good. Maybe you could make some better tests with other settings. Please share this.

Here is the full install package. From what I read in unbiased forums this EA is a piece of crap with a cherry on top. But you can decide for yourself.. I've seen the ex4 for it somewhere and will search for it and post it here.

Edit: Did not take me very long to find out concrete proof that the MPP is a FAPTurbo clone. Using FAPTurbo 5.0 probably makes more sense if you like this type of EA with large SL and small TP.

I'm running EA Kain with MM set to 30 for EURUSD, EURCHF and USDCAD.
(Agressive mode on for EURUSD and EURCHF and agrressive mode off for USDCAD).
 
I'm only have micro account on SigTrader so I can tell you about normal one.
But the key for success with EAKain is lower spread, the problem is normally Broker with low spread is enlarge their spread during Asian market. That's why my account on GallantFX that normally lower spread compare with SigTrader sometime fail to open position due to reach spread limit, and sometime even close with small lose due to spread enlargement during close position.
 
And just remind even EAKain have failed at May period (most Asian Scalper like Shocker, Primeval also hit SL at this period) seems like strong trend from US market time continue to Asian Market time. Fortunately this lost is recovered within 2 month.
 
It's better if anybody in this community find out the way filtering out EAKain from strong trend.

you should change the ReverseSystem and ReverseAtStop settings to true for it to work correctly - otherwise it will place a buy when it should place a sell and vice versa. Very slow to test for me, but the current test is profitable this year.

EURUSD TF M30, H1

It works on ecn/ndd brokers. I have lots of forward test at the moment.

After a reasonable(ok) performance of Forex Shocker on my live account, I decided to mod it and add news filter.
The version in question is 2.0, nodll, found on this forum. I'm not sure who educated it.
 
The only broker I have been able to work it or backtest it on, is JadeFX. At first I thought it was weird, but after some months I thought it might have something to do with the GMT offset.
I looked into the code and found a major bug that only allowed it to work on gmt offset=0 and 1, on some pairs
 
I fixed it and it should now be able to work and be backtested on any broker.
 
Another bug I found was about the timed closing, also knows as customlevels on fapturbo. What this does is, it closes the trade at a smaller profit, or small loss, after a certain time if it hasn't reached takeprofit yet. The bug only allowed it to work on 4-digit brokers. It's fixed now, even though I might have had more profits with it accidently off.
 
The news filter is exactly the same that I added to Megadroid, so no big deal.
 
Now notice I called it XE :D
About that, I added a couple of costumizable features.
Where you're supposed to choose the logic, I added a new option, which is 0=custom.
If you put 0, then you're able to custumize a whole bunch of features to the logic. And here they are:
 
-Timed_Closing: This is a general option for any logic. Putting this to false, it turns off those custom levels of, which close a trade in smaller profit if it hasn't been able to reach takeprofit after a while.
 
-News Filter - AvoidNews: This is pretty much the same as megadroid. Turn it on to not trade around news and specify which news and how long before and after.
 
-Logic: the same as the original but now you can choose 0 to specify your own parameters.
 
Advanced Settings: here they are.
 
-Hour_Start_Time and Hour_End_Time: Pretty obvious this one, from when till when you want it to open trades.
 
-TakeProfit: before, in all pairs, the take profit was always 4 pips. Now you can go wild on it if you want.
 
-StopLoss: before, the stoplosses ranged around 19-34 depending of the pair. Now you pick it.
 
-NN1, NN2... NN8: I have no idea what this values are really, but they have to do with the logic of opening a trade. On version 1 you could and had to change this values depending on each pair. The thing is, before there was only NN1- NN5 and they are exactly the same as in version 1. Now there are 3 more values (NN6,NN7,NN8), even though on every pair they seem to be the same values.
 
-Timed_Buy_TakeProfit: This might be a bit confusing. Remember the Timed_Closing or customlevels? This is to do with that. Here you decide which value of profit you want it to close a buy trade after a certain time.
 
-Timed_Sell_TakeProfit: The same but for sell/short trades.
 
-Minutes_Buy: Here you choose how many minutes after the trade opening you want to activate the Timed_Buy_TakeProfit.
 
-Minutes_Sell: Same, but for sells.
 
Here's an example for this last part. If you have Timed_Closing as true, Logic as 0, and let's say you are trading AUDUSD. It opens a buy trade at 22:15. Usually it tries to take profit of 4 pips. Let's say you have Timed_Buy_TakeProfit set to "-1" and Minutes_Buy to 75. This means, if after 75 minutes your trade is still open, then the takeprofit will be changed from 4 to -1. As an example, if it bought at 0.9000, the initial takeprofit was at 0.9004 and after 75minutes it will be changed to 0.8999 and the trade will close if the Bid price is equal or higher than that.
 
So that's it, I'm posting then the nodll version with the ffcal indicator that you have to put on indicators folder if you still don't have it. I'm also sending a picture with the settings for each of the original pairs. You don't need to input those values, as you just need to choose the logic for those original pairs, but it's usefull for your curiosity and if you wanna test differents value.

Hi all, It's great to see that my contribution in this forum has been taken to heart. Thanks to dinj for his contribution in making a truly great scalping Ea even better via automated news filtering method.
 
The news filter doesn't make Megadroid bullet proof but it definitely does enhance its overall profitability and reliability !
 
I have been trading Megadroid Pro V1.01ee for the past three months via manual news filter method which i have described in detail in the Megadroid Pro forum. I have averaged a profit percentage of around 85% using the news filter manually with a drawdown of around 5 to 7%.
 
I am happy to see it finally incorporated within the EA itself. I'm a conservative trader by nature and i would exercise caution with adopting using the aggressive mode on as Dinj has suggested. You only have to read through the Megadroid Pro thread of other traders Live experiences with the Aggressive mode turned on. Not a positive experience but perhaps the news filter method trading has made MP more reliable using the S2 strategy.
 
Personally i believe that we are trading enough pairs to not be aggressive and trading accuracy , profitability and reliability long term is more important to me than making fast dollars with increased risk.
 
Beware also that Backtest results only SIMULATE live trading conditions. They are not identical. Increased spreads and greater slippage are always the norm between Live and Backtest or Demo results.

I backtested it on FXOpen and the MM seems to be working well, although I don't think the EA is very profitable.
 
I'm still learning how to program, so it would be cool if a pro could comment on the code I added, if it's alright.
This is what I added inside the function start():

I initialized of course the variables Micro_Lots, Lots_Digits, MM_risk and lots, in the beginning. Lotsize was the only one that was already there.
 
It should support microlots and for the calculation, I used a risk of 220 pips. I couldn't find the stoploss in the code, as it is dependent on the variable ad_8, whose value seems to be hidden inside the DLL, so I put a historical stoploss by backtesting it with fixed lotsize from 01.01.2008 until today, and then I did an average of the 5 worse trades {236, 225, 220, 212, 209}, which is 220.
 
I reckon it might have been better using a function to calculate it instead of putting those two lines inside start(), but I guess it makes no difference.
