do you guys input 30 into the timeframe section or leave it as 0 ?

Better to leave it as "0".

But if you set it to "30" and if "TradeatCloseBar" is also set to "True", then it will open orders only at the start of the next candle and not in the middle of the current candlestick.

We should understand the strategy of this ea.. it opens buy orders while at selling trend and viceversa.

It just catches the green pips out of "RETRACES" means.

So its better to leave this set as "0" and let the ea to open trades at the current bar itself.

Also you can test it with two brokers one with set to "0" and one with set to "30". You will understand better and also you can test which is the best...!

I am using 'FRED" version from Ziddu and I have a question as follows:

1.) I have set the lot size to 0.1, but when the EA entered trade, it opened 0.7 & 0.8 lots (2 trades opened in the same time!) Why??? Is there anything wrong with my settings? I am using alpari UK - 5 digits quote.

My settings are:
TF:30M
Trailing Stop: 110
TP: 200
SL : 500
Trailing Step : 20
The rests are default.

Please help. Thank you :(

Every thing is correct except the Trailing Step : 20. It should be just 2. For 5 digits brokers we should add one more Zero to the Pips part alone and not with any STEP parts. So it should be 2 only.

Its obvious that this ea will open 2 or 3 trades at a time, bcoz, in its settings, the "Repeat" set is 3. If you change it into 0 it wont repeat or open similar orders simultanesously...

And this ea is doing automatically the money/risk management, it opens lots as it consider to be safe. From 0.10 to 1.00 or more. We dont have the option to set this automatic money management function to "OFF" status.

Hi.. Please see my 2nd Post at Page No 3 of this thread.

I dont even try the Original Site FRED File. Heavy losses were reported at other forum.

There I have uploaded 2 FRED files. In that I use the 1st FRED File whose size is 37.8 KiB (ziddu site file)

Download and use it with the settings I referred previously.

Its working profitably.

The other experts here suggest some good ideas about making this FRED still more profitable. We must try them too at a demo account.

No loss yesterday and today.

FRED at EU earned a total of $62.50 in my real money standard account, just today alone.

FRED goes well with my current settings...

Time Frame 30 EURUSD and USDCHF

Take Profit 20

Stop Loss 50

Trail Stop 11

Trail Step 2

I hope the experts here can optimize it for still more better profits..!

And I am testing one more EA at my live micro account. The results are simply amazing. Even vast better than FRED.

Only one loss out of 40+ trades high profit trades.

I will start a new thread about it when I am satisfied with its results still more. Coming Sunday most probably.

P.S. I tried to upload screeenshot of the fred's todays trades, but the maximum allowed upload size is just 5 KiB here. My image file is 28 KiB.

Can any one tell me how to compress it to less than 5KiB without clarity-loss..? I tried to compress, but not legible to read.!

I downloaded both of the Fred files here.

One is actually MasterMind3 that has been renamed Fred. The other (from the Fred site) is a totally different EA.

MasterMind3 is very profitable (uses indicators) and I don't know if Fred is profitable because I didn't try it yet.

I think its not like Master Mind 3. Bcoz I have used Mastermind for so many days... long back. Though it was profitable... but the losses were exceeding its profits..... So I stopped using it.

But in case of FRED its still working profitable with EU and ofcourse with USDCHF since its a reverse pair of EU. I stopped using FRED with GBPUSD and EURGBP. FRED is only for EU.

I use this bellow settings.... and it makes only profits and breakeven trades. No losses yet. I now use at 30M only.

Trainling Step 2

Works very well. Other pairs than EU and UC incur huge losses with small profits...! So FRED is for only EU and its reverse pairs. USDCHF is a exact upside down of EURUSD. The movements are also exactly same reverse of EU. So I use FRED with UC too.

Nice Idea to Convert FRED EA as a "No-Loss EA"..!

I have a fantastic idea to make this FRED EA a consistent profit maker, since it at times incurs heavy losses thereby vanishing all the profits it earned. The losses are huge when compared to its profits.

After a lengthy analyzing its trading strategy, I conclude this... It basically follows a reverse strategy in opening trades. Means, it opens a buy trade when the trend is selling and vice verse. Many times this strategy seems to be profit... bcoz, many times upward trend may give a small retracement and come down for a while and this EA mainly makes profit in that time only... but remember still its against the Trend. Obviously it incurs huge losses when the trend is going strong and stronger.... without any big retracement and its stop losses are hit...!

"Trend is our Friend" is the main slogan of forex success. So if we can change this FRED EA's trading strategy slighter, I strongly believe this EA would become a successful one.

Since I am not a mql coder.... I put forward a open request in this forum...

Any one please decompile the ex4 file of FRED EA and change its way of trading as upside down, without changing any thing... I mean, to change its code/syntax for buying and selling.... when its original code prompts to buy, the EA should sell and vice versa..! If anyone change its code in this way then I hope this EA can be highly profitable as it just rides along with the trend.

Please dont change any thing other than modifying its code to buy and sell... Please download the FRED EA's ex4 file which needs to be changed from the very 2nd post in this page (first file in the attachement whose size is 37.88 KiB)

Could any one here do this favour soon..?

what do you mean by "op"...? please explain.... and what is your lot size ...? can you here post all your settings...?

And one more good thing... I reduced the takeprofit from 20 pips to just 10 pips.. also I changed the time frame from 30m to 15m.. and it worked well. Bo single loss.. I use FRED at my real account on EU, GU, UsdChf and EurGbp.... Of thess EG does not suit well.

the other three are good.

2. Introduction

First of all I want to thank everybody on FF for working with me, sharing

toughts and helping me with improving the system.

The major flaw in v2.0 was the whipsaw effect, this is common with al moving

averages systems. Ive tried several things to prevent this, (using rsi, macd’s

and so on….) but you always have the problem that most indicators are

always to late in choppy markets.

I was able to solve a bit of the problem and this is the main change of the

system. The idea after it, stays the same. Using short term trend indicators

and comparing them with (long) term trend indicators to predict what the

future trend will be.

I must say, that this system will still generate false signals. But a heck of a lot

less than v1.0

Enough of the chatter, let’s talk some method !!!

Sidus

3. Set-up

� Timeframe

The longer the timeframe, the better. I would recommend to use at least the

one hour timeframe (H1), but I rather use the four hour timeframe (H4).

� Chart

I set my graphic in barcharts, but that is really your own preference.

� Indicators

Add the following indicators :

+ EMA (exponential moving average) : 18 in yellow (closing price)

+ EMA (exponential moving average) : 28 in yellow (closing price)

+ RVI (Relative Vigor Index) : period 100 in blue and red

� Trading pairs

Use whatever you like. I recommend using pairs you are familiar with. Always

bear in mind news releases, long term estimates and other fundamental

trading aspects.

This is what I call :

4. Getting in a trade

� Long

If the blue RVI crosses the red RVI upwards AND is followed by a confirmation

of a cross by the EMA’s from the yellow tunnel.

� Short

If the blue RVI crosses the red RVI downwards AND is followed by a

confirmation of a cross by the EMA’s from the yellow tunnel.

!!! Always keep an eye on the main trend of the RVI. For example : If you get

a long signal and the RVI is also going up then your almost sure that the

signal will be correct !!!

5. Getting out a trade

You can stay in a trade as long you dont get new signals on that pair.

Especially pay attention to a internal cross (or extreme narrowing) of the

yellow tunnel EMA’s. This means that the trend is likely to loose strenght and

maybe even to reverse.

I recommend a trailing stop. Monitor your trade the first day, to see if you

have followed the right signal. Use your Money Management rules and stick

with them.

Also keep attention to news releases and other fundamental issues.

7. Conclusions

If used this system 4 months before releasing it. It is very profitable. But

before you use it, keep in mind :

� Systems generate false signals, use your knowledge and gutfeel to know if

you should be doing the trade. The best confirmation of a signal = YOURSELF

� Always use stoplosses !!! Decide for yourself if you need tight or loose

stoplosses

� Money management is THE holy grail, check it out on ForexFactory

No Its not pips.. I said its a micro (cents) account so 32.00 USD. Yes in only one day only..

I am using it from 28th Aug to today..!

I used it on GPBUSD. USDCHF and EURGPB..

But for the last 2 days it incurred losses too.

Its my live account.

Same settings of "adil08"

But the original site file seems to be very much different and non-profitable... I still dont know which is correct to use..!

I dont know why..?

I have closed some trades which were negative due to my fear.. May be those too could have turned into profit after some time..! This EA is meant for EU only..! But I have used it with EurUsd, GbpUsd and their correlated pairs like UsdChf and EurGbp..! Nice returns... But with some losses too..!

I dont know how this EA works... So far I understand from its operation, it opens sell trades when its a buying trend..! and vice versa...

I hope that any mql programmer here can still fine tune this EA..! I dont understand some of its settings too..

My main settings are.. Currency Pair : EURUSD

Time Frame: 30m:

SL : 50

TP: 20

TS: 15 I left others unchanged..!

Please somebody test this EA and report your feed back here..!

Sorry I dont understand..!

Then why its different from the Original site ex4..? The original site file settings has "sunday, monday... trade specifications and just a magic number and lot size..! Nothing other than this.

But the file I downloaded already from "ziddu" has settings for "repeat function, time frame" etc...

I am still confused... which one is correct..?

But after reading this thread, I downloaded the FRED EX4 file from the original site but the settings part seems to be very different from that of what I am using already..! There is no momeymanagement or other settings...!

Which one is original and correct to use..?

Thanks for your wonderful robominer key gen mq4 file. I tried it with the latest original ex4 file downloaded from the original site's members area and Its working well for my live account. I am really pleasured to use the key gen file a wonderful tool.

I have latest original file of GT Shadow downloaded from the original site. I tried the robominer key gen file to get unlock code for GT shadow, but it failed.

Can you please write another key gen mq4 file for the original latest GT Shadow (version 4.12).

Since I just prefer to use the original file (uneducated raw version) with the unlock key instead of using an educated/cracked version, I am asking you this help.
