    Also posting educated version also did some organizing of the code, some of the variable weren't external so made them external for instance emailAlerts was an int made it an external int, same with one order per day, anyway would be nice if a coder could verify changes if I did them right because mostly am a beginner coder, another thing this Ea almost completely restored, going to work on that and making the indicators settings externally controlled for optimization purposes, but for now need to get some zz's

    Did a mod of v5.0(now 5.0a), couldn't find v5.2 if someone could please post it again will mod it also, what I did was add spread protection, kinda organized the external variables, to make it easier to go through the code, added 5 digit auto code, and moved the Envelope settings so they can be changed with external parameters, will make the Envelope to be optimized along with Stoch. Also in the rar. is some files from another forum where this Ea originated, including another Ea called Account Sentry, plus some documents and setfiles.

    Found 5.2 did the mod, seems it all ready had auto 4 and 5 digit code, not sure if it was working or not so just left the one I put in 5.0 in 5.2, also having computer problems so not able to back test to see if this mod works still so wonder if anyone could please back test to check. Not vsure if it has been mentioned or not v5.2 has a Ma confirmation along with another timeframe Stoch. from what I have seen this is the difference between 5.0 and 5.2.

    Hey There I was looking at this.. I fixed the EA where it now works with 2,3,4,5 digits brokers and does the AutoLot stuff right... But when I load the indi in the trade simulator it never produces a signal.. Can you post the origional indi EX4 so I can take a look... Thanks..

    Thank you for explanation

    I looked at the author website and discovered that if you´re using a 4 digit

    account you must change stoploss, miximumprofitpoints and stopstep to

    60, 25 and 5.

    The minimum lot size that ea open is 0.10 lots.

     

    John can you reduce the minimum lot size to 0.01 (micro lots)?

     

    Just got home from work and noticed V2 placed a trade, would recommend using a fixed lot size because with default settings on 3k demo it placed 1 full lot trade, I guess the author automatically changed stoploss,miximumprofitpoints and stopstep for my friend since his account is with 5 digit ECN, do not understand why these sellers don't make these EA's automatic for whatever digit broker, the code's not that hard.

    A friend sent me this Ea to decompile and educate and no haven't backtest as far as I know you just leave the settings as default, the Ea uses the stop loss and take profit numbers to figure lotsize, might check here h**p://sites.google.com/site/drchuckiestradingtools/v2-bot and also check all the information the developer provides for V2. Not sure if Educated version is working or not since it so far hasn't placed any trades yet.

    Don't know Norman, running a backtest on Jade Broker from about this time yesterday till now, 4 months done and about breakeven after 54 trades and that is using the provided set file. But my main reason to backtest was to see if it worked, really don't trust the backtest but needed something to go on. Will see how it goes fwd testing!

    do other's find that fractals 4 operates differently on a 4 digit broker compared to a 5 digit broker?

     

    i have different results on backtest. does anyone else find that?

     

     

    Have found that indicator PivotWizard called by Ea did not have 4 or 5 digit capabilities so changed now it should work on 4 or 5 digit broker, if you want to use just replace with this one and compile. Not sure but hope this helps!
