I am also trying to fine tune settings and still checking out the difference between v1 and v2. To me, v1 is more close to the original manual system than v2. I am not quite sure yet what is the difference and why is the reason that v2 got changed. Also, noticed that some of functions that v1 doesn't work. i.e trailing, etc.
Using Mangiare' MACD box settings to 20/100/18 on 1 hr TF, back test seem to hold pretty well. More people test to find optimal settings will be helpful to those who can't stay up and trade manually.
 
I've change the code slightly and if anyone interested in trying on forward test and post here, you are welcome to it. I made a comparison between v2 and v1 and used some of the code from v2 to v1. However, I am not coder and don't know much about coding. (just enough to be dangerious. :-O ) SO PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE IT ON LIVE UNTIL YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY SURE. Here's a 100% accurate Probability histogram hot off the press.
 
Note: This is a real time indicator which builds up history as it runs, so when you first install the indicator the indicator panel will be blank. Also be aware that changing timeframes will re-initialise the indicator and wipe out the data, the same applies when you restart MT4 or change parameter settings. It's a pain, I know, but this is the only way to ensure that we record correct data from the multiple timeframes.

If you leave the indicator running, the history will accumulate up to the number of bars specified in the parameter "LookBack" (defaulted to 1,000) and at that point should start overwriting itself (though I've not been able to test that yet).
 
You may also notice a parameter "MaxMin" - ignore that as it does nothing at the moment.
 
The indicator shows on the histogram maximum positive probabilities in light green and the probably at the closed candle in dark green. Negative probabilities are shown similarly in pink and red.
 
I've tested on the 1m chart (which has been very slow going in the Asian session) and some interesting patterns are forming. Try it out and see if you can spot some patterns which repeat regularly and lead to high probability setups :)

Either set AlertArrow or AlertArrowProb to true to activate the alert.
 
AlertArrow will alert as soon as a new arrow is drawn regardless of probability.
AlertArrowProb will alert as soon as a probability is >20 or < -20 after an arrow is drawn.
 
As a general trading note, because this system is essentially momentum driven, then I'd expect signals to be best in the main UK and UK/US sessions.

I've tidied up the code in Trend_Prob indicator and have changed it into a more readable histogram:

However...the problem is that although the current value of the indicator ties in exactly with the current master probability, going back in history shows some suspect values.
 
Why do I think these are suspect? Well, for one they don't make sense based on what I've seen from the master probability in live and also we can prove that they're not correct.
 
The way to do this is to backtest the main Pips_Accumulator indicator in visual mode as I mentioned earlier and to compare the master probability at say 15:50 this afternoon (where it showed as a +ve number in backtest, but remained -ve in the histogram).
 
There's something subtle which is wrong here as the code comes straight from Trend_Prob and there's not an obvious reason why it should give different values to those seen from the main indicator in backtest as they appear to be using the same routines. This is one for you expert coders to check out this weekend ;)

Made a frankenstein EA from v5.2 and v3.2 (many thanks to donator who sent me 5.2).
Simply speaking, I added the v5.2 code to the 3.2 code and came up with this!
 
This is Pyramid EA v5.2XE (xtra educated!)
 
Essentially there is a grid option and trade averaging code in this EA.
Also there are different presets for v5.2 (for trading on M30 charts)
You can turn off the v5.2 features by setting "koef_grid" to 0, and it will trade like v3.2/v4
Of course, there is no dll protection or account number requirement so you can put it on whatever you like.
 
Seems to blow up in backtesting (no surprises there), but MT4 backtesting is quite **** anyway and unreliable. Seems like the coders have better multi-year live results.
 
Of course, this EA simply takes advantage of hedging and has martingale elements. That is, it doesn't trade like a manual trader and stays in the market 24/5, ready to handle whatever the market can throw at it (hopefully).
Personally, I think this is one of the best grid-hedging-martingale EAs out there... but use with caution!
 
Ensure your broker can handle microlots and hedging, and that you have at least $1500 in it.
If your broker can't, don't run this EA on it!

Here you'll find EA with last corrections/options I've added. Basically related with hedge strategy, there are no new filter indicators included, as I could not get profitable backtests, or general rules to be applied. Anyway I am sharing it, in case you want to play around with some backtests, you may switch hedge on/off. In case you choose hedge, expiration time may be set on/off, and modification of SL, too.
If market place is too close to suggested entry, EA will look for an entry point adding the minimun distance required by broker, and it differs according to pair used.
For those who are new to this thread, indicator is required.
 
In case anyone gets good backtests, pls let us know, and we'll see how to go on with this EA.

Changes to be found: 1) Trailing Stop. TS=0, no TS. (must be adapted to broker´s digits)
2) Hedge capabilities bool: if FALSE= EA will follow the rules, as known at present.
If TRUE= pls read post # 118 shared by fxeasy. Only first step was implemented, i.e. when one of both trades enters the market, the pending one is deleted and replaced with a new one changing SL, and lots *3.
That´s the theory, let´s see the practice. Quick backtests I did, made me suppose it is a powerful tool.
Indicator still required on charts if you wish to see vertical red signal, I was not able to handle it in other way.
And last but not least, pls share, it is the only way we will move faster. As my own experience, I can tell you that Í´ve been working in silence many years, and I´ve learnt that the more you share, more you grow.
So, as usual, feedback, no matter what, will be accepted with gratitude.

A promise is a debt. I'try to explain what I did. As I mentioned before, my intention was to work on v2, because as some of you commented, works better than v3, or at least it works. But I consider we should move forward and not backwards, so I work on v3. I have no idea how to solve ECN broker features, I must say.
Changes you will find: As external input , you will be able to ignore the Min Distance which I suppose is causing troubles, if set as TRUE , EA will stay same as original v3, if set to false it will be similar to v2.
The code is more tidy now, although my priority is to verify if indicator gives profitable entries.
Those who were unable to run former versions, pls keep me informed.
