So it has to be 32-bit, right?

well you can have the 64 bit Windows 8 operating system but when you install -- Ninjatrader installs both the 64 bit and the 32 bit .. all you have to do is to use the 32 bit ninjatrader.exe for connection as zenfire and other data vendors have not yet upgraded to 64 bit connectivity -- i have tested it and so thats why i am giving you all my notes .. ( will save you time and frustration :) ) so dont use 64 bit ninjatrader.exe I hope this helps you and if you need any more information post your concerns and any one of us in the team will help you out ...

Hello, in my pc I've Windows Seven Ultimate 32 bit and I've not problem whit several Ninja add-on. Related to Windows 8 I will have the same situation ? Do you have any feedback about? Thank in advance for any comment or help.

Ninjatrader 7 works perfectly fine with windows 8 ... just make sure you use the x86 ninjatrader.exe and not the 64 bit as the connections via a lot of data vendors are yet not compatible with 64 bit exe

ok, educated dll is ready:

 

Steps to install:

1. Close NT7

2. Install setup provided by 445NDO.

3. Remove original Final.SOTMasterIndicatorsStrategies.dll file from NinjaTrader 7/bin/Custom

4. Download fixed dll from http://www.mediafire.com/?8bc7lqpwxa38548

5. Unzip it, and drop it in NinjaTrader 7/bin/Custom folder

6. open NT7, and start playing with the strategies provided ...

 

It looks pretty much similar to what most of you might already know and have tried before ... but having the proper settings for the strategy (not default ones) could really make a big difference ...

 

445NDO, if you can get those from their room, that would be pretty awesome ...

aquarius5 - First of all I wanted to thank you very much for taking care of this in such a short time. :) In regards to setups and workspace - settings etc I will plug them all in a one zip file and also create a doc with pic as to how and where to set those.

To all others who are going to read this post !! Please stand by for the workspace and setting doc and files which i shall be able to compile for you all latest by tomorrow. Thanks - Meanwhile just go ahead and follow aquarius5 instructions to install the pkg.

Now as a team lets get this second project working .. I have had the opportunity to use the earlier version of this on the regular NT7.10 version and its an awesome technology with entries and exits and auto trading which makes good money based on the templates that are pre-configured.

We need to get this working on our Normal NT.

I was tracking down where this message came from... its from NinjaTrader.Core, so in order to trigger this message, any indicator calls an update function, from the IndicatorBase, going all down to this core dll. But in order to get to this, the indicator must have at least one call to the base.VendorLicense function. And all I did was to remove any call to this function...

 

1. Did you remove existing woodies dlls from NT7?

2. Was NT7 closed when you copied the fixed dlls on the Ninja Trader 7/bin/Custom folder?

 

Those are the only things I can think of ...

Hi aquarius5 ! Thanks again for your patience and instructions as above to narrow down my cause of error msgs. I went ahead and deleted all the woodies indicators and also removed all references and reinstalled from scratch. It works perfectly fine now . Thanks a lot ! :) Once again :)
