I cobbled together an EA for One Night Stand.

Holy lord you guys... this is ludicrous. I co-manage a $75 Million fund 60% invested in spot FOREX and there is no way on god's green earth that a bunch of retail FOREX traders, trading a robot on a retail platform are going to influence what Institutions are going to do with a major FOREX pair... stop the madness. I've dropped 500 lot trades on low volume and haven't even moved the market 1/2 a pip, no way any institutions give a **** about Wallstreet or Forex Growth Bot.

Interesting comments i have been reading. Its good to see a few who have no time for Futile EA's but seem to have all the time in the world to keep posting here saying how good THEY are. This EA does work but you have to figure out the correct levels for yourself that your account can handle..
 
If anybody thinks a Auto EA and a Manual trader are the same then they are Shi@@ing them selves. They arent. Yes a manual trader can get in and out at supposedly good times and hopefully reduce there DD. But a EA just have rules and thats it. It cant think and see whats happening.
 
Now there seems to be a few "Manual Traders" here who keep saying how good they are but i dont see them having a thread sharing there "Winning" system here. No they just keep taking and posting negative things rather than sharing what they CLAIM to be the best.
 
I agree 98% of EA's are a waiste of time. I have a few that are profitable..most are private ones like this Hedge EA. Now if all you Guru's want is winning stuff then close down this whole Forum or restructure it as its FULL of time wasting strategies..ea's..indicators..and has very few good people posting real stuff. EA's are posted so you can test and see for yourself if its going to be usefull or not. I personally have not filled all the posts up with cra@ and "IAM THE BEST" blar..blar..but have just posted a few interesting things that some might benefit from or not. So If you dont like this one then go play with your stuff and keep your time to more "Futile" things. But i suppose this is the world in general..You have to wonder why people say it doesnt work when it actually does..Is that because they are scared the brokers will shut it down and they will have to find another thing to work..Makes me think..

Here is what I have observed:
The EA may open many positions (currently, mine has 14 open at close of business
 
Friday) and may cause a large DD. It seems to close 2 pairs at a time, when the
 
profit has reached the level you set it to in the externs.
The following work for me:
$5,000 Balance
0.1 Lots
 
After a week there are 14 positions held open, a DD of -$603, a Margin of 1560
 
and a Margin Level of 285%
 
 
#343 Hi fx4_ever,
This EA looks like it generates its own magic numbers on opening pairs of
 
trades, that is, a position is opened and assigned a magic number, then a second
 
position is opened with another magic number, and both magic numbers (and
 
positions) are related. When the 2 positions come into profit, they are closed
 
simultaneously via their magic numbers.
 
So it appears to already be doing what you are suggesting.
 
Note: I don't think there is anything wrong with having 2 USDCHF trades open in
 
the same direction, as long as they are not magic-numbered together.
 
You could write a sub-routine into the money management section to segregate a
 
portion of the account balance to be used for this EA only, but since the
 
original EA (the one I am using) has its money management based on Locked Margin
 
there would be problems. Locked Margin changes with number of positions opened
 
and is also usually Broker defined.

#423 Also, the various data goes into the EA, filling a set of arrays before it
 
can be used. This is why you need to leave it running for a few minutes, when
 
first starting, in order to fill the array (then allowing live).

I had the same problem when I started running this EA and I closed the trades.
Now I've reached the same stage - 14 open positions - but will persevere and see
 
where it takes me next week.
I think of this EA as stretching several elastic bands at once, in 3 dimensions,
 
then
trying to pull them into a specific shape (the profit) before collapsing
 
again.

I've done it many times and I have also set my PC to auto reboot everyday. What I've observe, USD basket comes back up and seem to know where it left off. It remembers the details of already opened orders and displays and trade continue as norm.
 
This is also to be the case on other settings, i.e. lot size, TP, delta, etc. Not that I am suggesting that settings should be changed in the middle of the cycle, but just as FYI. ex: When I changed the delta value in the middle of the trade cycle. It does not affect already open trade, but it will not open new trade unless current (most recent) delta value is met.

OK, I set up six demos this evening on Oanda starting with $10000 and 50:1 leverage. Lot size is set at 0.10 per $5000 as has been previously discussed on the forum. Three of the demos are using delta of 300, with the other three at 350; TP for each delta is 0.25, 0.30, and 0.35, giving us the six demos. 50pips, I hear your frustration. My old boss said "No good deed never go unpunished". Sometime, I feel that way too when I shared something on any forum. But, you really didn't think everyone will like what you've shared, did you? Please think of many of us who gets it and loving it and think of what you've shared here is not a mistake. To me, it was rare treat to find good system that works for my trading appetite! Thanks again for your contribution.

Guys posting here has been a blast. Many haven't even read the thread because if they did then there questions would have been answered. Like my other thread its getting painfull now as some silly comments are just a sign of incompetence in understanding what to do. Its all layed out for you all. Its a simple equation..Leave default..change Delta and lot size and rest WHO CARES..

AS far as a EA goes this is very solid regardless of the stop required. You all just need to go back to your quest as iam getting this thread closed. God help me to post anything usefull here..you learn from your mistakes and it will NEVER happen again..

Most of you who have followed the thread of Aroman from the very beginning wintessed that I made very few postings but that I predicted from the very beginning what would happen with him and have clearly warned you all for him.
He started his topic with an system that he would share and explain the rules.
Suddenly he did not want to share his system because he did not know how to explain his system becaus his English was not good enough.
Then he wanted to share his "system" through a copy trade without explaining. Which he did but his systyem was a plain martingale who was blowing up every account.
Then he suddenly changed his goal to no longer share a system or EA but tried to expose scamming brokers.
 
I made a posting to warn you all about someone like him that he would only keep you busy and that he is not going to give you anything what so ever but only selling a lot of wind so his ego would grow because of the attention you give him.
I said also that I am making money as a trader for 16 years now and that I will never blaim my broker if I loos some money. A good system works with a good broker (true ECN brokers). So just stay away from bucket shop brokers and you don't need an Aronman to give you proof of that.
I also said that once this Aroman would let you down (because he does not give you anything important to make money off) that I would come back with a system that really makes money. WELL HERE I AM..
 
Many of you know me from other forums and for those who would not know me then google on "(T_S_R) trading by FXiGoR". Or "ZoRRo Trading system by FXiGoR" etc
You will see that many people and forums all over the world are using trading techniques that I gave already many years ago...
 
I am going to relaese in a couple of days 1 single system that works on many pairs. By many I mean beside the eurusd and gbpusd, where most of the commercial EA's trade on, that my system works very nice on pairs like the eurjpy, eurcad, audusd...etc...
We ( my programmer and myself) are busy at this moment to turn this system into an EA.
 
Give me 36H to post all the results. And then give me a couple of more days hopefully not weeks (because one never knows with programming) to release my EA.
Trust me I have a reputation to stand up for and I am not here to keep you busy or that needs some attention to give me a little bit of an ego-boost. My time is presious.
I am 48 years old "young" and get my ego-boosts from other elements in life. So I am going to deliver what I prommissed you. That is a system (EA) from all the EA you saw before, the NEXT GERERATION of EA's. In this sence that you will not find an EA out there that works on so many pairs like our EA does. Which proofs its robustness and reliability.

PS The EA will be called (T_S_R)_Next_Generation. T_S_R stands for Trend Slope Retracement. Or buying low in an up trend and selling high in a down trend. Which is a principle that works for every single financial intrument you want to trade.
PS2. Google on my complete name "Igor Devisscher" and you will find postings of 10 years ago on devellopment forums for trading systems on Metastock Professional. So that you are sure that I am not a b*llsh*tter.
PSS. I am here to help you making money not to be Mr Popular Or Mr Nice Guy. So please don't ask st*pid questions and don't expect that I am going to spoonfed or pamper you.
If you hardly know anything about trading then buy at least 5 books on trading. On Amazon you will find what you need to buy if you invest some time in it. As you also need to do in trading.
PSSS. My EA is not going to work on nano lot accounts. I am not going to use the word hate but I dislike people who trade with a couple of hundred dollars. They should better buy themself a Xbox or playstation instead of trading and have a high opinion about themselfs because they broke a new record instead of doubling up their accounts in 1 month time but that you don't see anymore after 6 months trading.
