Re: [release] Grail_2 (ISEA leeched from it) - no limitorders
Â
yeah, I gave this one up a while ago too. It traded a lot, but at the end it hardly made profit, or ended up in loss.

Re: [release] Grail_2 (ISEA leeched from it) - no limitorders
Â
actually reading your above post with server time, it would be equivalent to starting the ea at 2 PM EST and shutting it down at 5AM EST. SO it would work thru Asia and beginning of London session then.
-
Re: [release] Grail_2 (ISEA leeched from it) - no limitorders
Â
So you are using this ea in late asia, into London, and into ny time, finishing trading at ny lunch time at 1 pm est?
Â
Im trying to get the settings right here. I use forex.com as well but even though my account is under UK regulations, it is still in the US, so my server time is based on NY time. My market watch time is 12:46, so GMT +4 due to Daylight Savings

Re: [release] Grail_2 (ISEA leeched from it) - no limitorders
Â
chankl78, Forex.com is gmt+4, not gmt 0.
Â
So these times you are using ares server time then? the time that your MT4 shows on the market watch window?

Re: [release] Grail_2 (ISEA leeched from it) - no limitorders
Â
i have run a few scenarios, up to now. I think between 7 am and 4 pm est works best up to now. My gmt is -4, and the pair it works on best is EURCHF 5min chart.

Re: www.windsorparkfx.com
Â
Great addition! Thanks
What times do you think are the best to start and stop trading on it. :-bd

Re: DRAGONPIPS
Â
So, this trading timeframe, is that GMT? It would be the around the same trading times as faprturbo then? The asian market, or is it really 22-2 our real time, which in my case would be EST (-4) which is also my broker's market time (forex.com) ? :-/

Re: THV3 ea
Â
who knows? :-??
I like forward testing on live accounts because I dont trust demo feeds. So until they unlock this thing to trade live, I can't tell.
Â
Â
P.S. before someone thinks the wrong thing, I use very small amounts of money on these live accounts and the lowest micro lot size possible. I look at it as an investment to find the right combination of EAs that will be profitable in the long run.

Turhovach
He is a trader, that the person who came up with the manual system for MT4 (cobraforex) named his system after.
Â
Then later came the EA.
Â
This ea is locked so that it can not be used in a live account yet.

Re: mechanics trade - New EURUSD 2009

All you need is one little semi-violent move and a martingale system can wipe out an account faster than you can say margin call.

yep, they are scammers and were proved to be.
It is funny they keep trying to sell this thing after being shown as crooks.

Re: [release] Grail_2 (ISEA leeched from it) for FXCH broker
Â
is that the only thing that it changes? Meaning, the time stop loss will still be active right?
-
Re: [release] Grail_2 (ISEA leeched from it) for FXCH broker
Â
Yep, eurgbp does not give good results at all on Forex.com
eurchf on 1M was good, but on 5M chart it is better.
the 180 SL is what I have changed and brought it down to 40. My reasoning behind this is that it in a case of a bad spike due to any news that was not expected, such as last week's rumors of the UK PM stepping down, would not kill your account balance, and with only 40 pips, the ea could recuperate easily. There are not many times that you will reach a 40 SL in 20 minutes in this pair, unless there is a strong reaction to something and then yo can certainly will get a big drawdown or worse. This is just for my personal peace of mind. :)>-

Re: [release] Grail_2 (ISEA leeched from it) for FXCH broker
Â
thanks for your hard work.
Have been running it live for a day now, with very small micro lot size, of course ;)
It loves to trade, that is for sure, I think it traded over 100 times in a 24 hour period.
I am going to tweek it here and there, but I believe this is a very good product so far.
I use forex.com, which is not known to be a "bargain" broker, but even on it, it has worked fine and the results have been good. I will give it a week and post the results at the end.

Re: [release] Grail_2 (ISEA leeched from it) for FXCH broker
Â
Great job!
Quick question:
Does the time function work based on GMT?
Do we need to change it according to our timezone so it starts and stops trading?
-
Re: www.windsorparkfx.com
Â
thanks again. I was doing some calculations, and I will be running some variations in backtesting to see what comes up. Will post later in the week results for bt and also forward testing. :)>-

Re: www.windsorparkfx.com

dandawman, could you share your settings for profit manager? thx

Re: www.windsorparkfx.com
Â
hello everyone, brand new to the site.
I have a question, about the combination of the trade manager and profit manger. Should I place them both on the same chart for them to work?
Thanks for the help

guys, I keep getting "zero divide" that first happened in v2 and now v3 as well. This does not allow any trades. Any ideas?
