  1. Re: REQ: forex derivative EA

This guy that developed this EA seriously should be put in jail. Can you imagine ordering this EA, backtesting it and thinking it performs well.. only to find out that it is draining you of every dollar in your account? The point is that the developer used deception to its highest degree to show good backtests by recalling the optimized values for every past year from the DLL. So he has no regard for any of his clients, but cares about only the income he gets from selling his EA regardless of what happens to his client's accounts. If I would have purchased this EA I would demand a refund immediately and send a message to this guy to take his deception and shove it up his a**. Would you even continue to think of using this guy's EA despite of what he has done so far?? Up to you..

    Best trading

If it made money... HELL YES!

All we are saying is we need to try the new version. It is showing good results on several independent forward tests. Don't tell me you wouldn't use it if it proved to be a very profitable EA regardless of what the author has done.

the version i have does not work on a live account. Specifically the profit manager script. Anyone have a working one?

Edit: I don't think trademanager works either. Anyone have a fully educated version?

Thanks for the information ikarma...I set mine $100 with $5K capital, and trade manager 0,10 lots and trend manager 0,20 lots...Does it sound a right setup to you?

I really don't know. I guess we will see on our forward tests.. I am assuming that a lower global takeprofit will prevent larger drawdowns.

  4. Re: www.windsorparkfx.com

If you backtest it you can't use the profit manager. I am forward testing it right now on $500 demo account and I set the Global take profit to 20 and it seems to be working. When it has $20 in profit it closes all the trades winning or loosing.

Maybe this profit manager will prevent it from ever hitting those huge drawdowns?

  5. Re: REQ: forex derivative EA

There is a version 1.4 out now. The author says that it fixes a problem that causes it to open too many orders on some brokers. His "live" statement shows less orders than what I had for sure and it looks profitable.

Let's get an educated version and forward test it.

Thanks!...When you ask for refund, do you receive any auto message from clickbank? I'm asking it cos I asked for refund but did not receive anything... :cd:

No they don't send a confirmation right away. I don't even remember if I got any confirmation at all, but the money is returned with a day or two.

  7. Re: REQ: forex derivative EA

I had a gbpusd trade that was +150 pips and now its -40 pips. On my real account it had a trade with the same pair that went +50 pips and closed out 10 pips better than the stoploss.

The market has been crazy the last few days but I still pulled this ea from my live account until more forward testing can be done.

  8. Re: REQ: forex derivative EA

Yes it work fine, and why you cant load history data?i load and it work fine, only that 1m TF it is only 25% but that is allways that. Also i back test it little and seam like ok.

Well I am not sure. I can download the history fine for the eurusd pair while on my demo account (not mini) but when I am on my live mini it won't download it because its eurusdm and it says "downloading from metaqutoes" then it says there is "no new data for symbol EURUSDm"

I tried importing and exporting but apparently the data don't match properly because it gets errors when backtesting...

  9. Re: REQ: forex derivative EA

Anyone test this on an Interbank FX mini account? I have it on a live account and it has placed no trades yet, but on my FXDD demo it has placed a trade already.

I cannot download history for backtesting on my Interbank FX mini account because it uses the EurUSDm symbol.

Can anyone verify it works correctly with this broker?
