    BEWARE !! BEWARE !!

     

    I believe there is a serious bug in Thunderv2e.

     

    Yesterday my account drop from $1000 to only $500 in one night.

    :o :o :o

     

    I realized the EA kept opening and close the trade without stopping.

    it happened that there is a sell signal when the candle is at the upper envelope,

    and the candle was fluctuating just at that upper envelope for very long.

     

    I am using standard setting.

    Previously somebody feedback that need to put the Accountprofitclose to False.

    My setting is already.

    Account profit close = False

     

    PLS BEWARE.

    Here is the results backtesting Apr 5th 09 to May 16th 09.

    EURGBP using 0.1lots fix, $1000.

    Tadawul FX, time 20-24 hrs.

     

    Lucky V2d

    PROFIT: $230

    dd%=4.8%

    total trades=43

    winning ratio=14-1

    profit ratio=5.54

     

    Thunder 2e

    profit=$498

    dd%=9.5%

    total trades=110

    winning ratio=7-1

    profit ratio=2.68

     

    fabturbo

    profit=$154

    dd%=17%

    total trades=54

    winning ratio=6-1

    profit ratio=1.76

     

    Plimus 1.2

    profit=$334

    dd%5%

    total trades=55

    winning ratio=8-1

    profit ratio=4.31

    For them to Trade Other pairs they have to Change the DLL there is no other way. It is Hard Coded into the DLL to Trade only EURUSD. If they Managed to change the DLL then it is possible. I don't have good experience in changing DLL but i looked at the DLL code using OllyDBG and it seems it is Hard coded but can be changed for other pairs if somone know how

    This one trades on all currency pairs. Use it at your own risk! This EA is supposed to be optimized to trade EURUSD at only certain hours where the market behaviour is more "predictable". Trading at other currencies may not be give desirable results. I'll run through some backtests on related pairs when I have the time.

    No, I have been running the EA with AccountProfitClose = FALSE on a live account for weeks and there was not any error.

     

    Do I do the same thing for Lucky EA also ?

    For those who use thunder v2e, pls be careful. Yesterday I attached to my Alpari Live after testing in demo.

    It continue to open and close trades non-stop, luckily i stopped it on time and lose ~ $200 :wew: :wew:

     

    You have to set AccountProfitClose = FALSE to avoid this phenomenon.

    Guys, it really worths to read the appropriate forum (in this case, the TSD YourLucky forum) before using any EA on a live account. There are lots of advices and live experiences amongst the usual forum noise.

    I tried backtest on 5 digits broker.

    Thunder 2e can be backtested, but Lucky v2d cannot.

     

    I have already changed a lot of numbers inside by x10 and tried out a lot of combination,

    but still cannot....kepala saye pening already !!! :!: :!:

     

    can somebody help to post the lucky v2d 5digits broker setfile ?

    With MB trading offering true ECN style trading in the near future is there nobody here who could modify Thunder 4WD? :?

    I checked with nordmarkets, it says scalping is not allowed.

    So, do use Thunder and EA like Lucky on Nordmarket successfully without being blocked ?

    I know it is trading asian session.

    However within asian session, we can adjust the time to further cut the losses

    and increase the profit factor tremendously.

    Trading from 21-1 hrs profit factor is very different from 21-4hrs.
