    Today is going to be an interesting day. I am seeing lots of

    central bank interventions in this market trying to smooth the

    aftermath of Lehman. We seen lots of liquidities injected into the

    market to avoid similar market crash of Bears, but eventually the

    sentiment will win over and there would be some kind of unwinding

    in the carry trades, hopefully it would be an orderly unwinding

    stretched out in the next few days.

     

    There is now an overwhelming consensus for the Fed to cut interest

    rate by 1.75% before the end of 2008, but it is widely expected that

    FOMC will leave rates unchanged with a rather dovish statement

    hinting a possible cut or change in policy in the future. However,

    there would still be a slim change for a rate cut, although it is

    going to be very slim.

     

    NEWS TRADING

     

    Tuesday Sept. 16 2008

     

    [4:30am NY Time]

     

    UK CPI y/y BUY 4.8% SELL 4.4% GBP/USD

     

    Our focus will be on the headline CPI number, not the Core CPI

    number. If we get a better than expected number of 4.6%, we should

    see GBP/USD moving up; if we get a lower than 4.4%, then we'll see

    GBP/USD moving down.

     

    Here is the definition from ForexFactory:

     

    The Consumer Price Index (CPI) measures the rate of inflation

    (i.e., the rate of price changes) experienced by consumers when

    purchasing goods and services. A rising trend has a positive effect

    on the nation's currency. The primary objective of the central bank

    is to achieve price stability; when inflation rises above an

    annualized rate of approximately 2%, they will respond by raising

    interest rates to bring prices down. Higher interest rates attract

    foreign investment, thus increasing demand for the nation's

    currency. CPI is one of the most closely watched indicators and

    will usually have a high impact upon release.

    number. If we get a better than expected number of 0.2%, we should

    see EUR/USD moving down; if we get a lower than 0.2%, then we'll see

    EUR/USD moving up.

    US FOMC Interest Rate BUY 1.75% EUR/USD

     

    The Feds (FOMC) will release its Federal Funds Rate and its widely

    expected to be a HOLD at current 2.00% level. FOMC is not expected

    to cut rate this month, however the real mover won't be the rate

    announcement, but the accompanied statements. If FOMC shifts its

    focus on inflation, we can expect to see USD gaining across the

    board. If the focus is on growth risks, then USD will be sold off

    against other currencies.

    Currency Market is driven by fundamental news. News releases are

    what determines the long term and short term trends of the market.

    Although technical analysis has its part in Forex trading, it is

    important to understand that market does not move just because a

    technical breakout or a candlestick pattern. By understanding

    fundamentals, a trader will have a powerful edge over the market in

    the mid to long term.

    Update tambahan Indikator untuk temannya Non_Lag_MA.

     

    To: SEFC;

     

    Saya sebenarnya Stock Traders di BEI, kemaren sempat nge-short Saham BUMI di 5150 & Buyback lagi di 4900, berdasarkan The Dow Theorynya Bung Mata_Dewa, tetapi baru2 ini mau nge-short lagi tidak diijinkan oleh pihak Broker, berhubung sentiment masih Bearish, & tidak diijinkan nge-short, daripada nganggur Saya coba2 melihat2 ke thread lain mengenai Forex, & ke forum2 Forex yang lainnya, eh ternyata Forex itu enak juga ya :mrgreen: .

     

    Jadi mohon maaf Pak SEFC Saya masih tidak mengerti hal2 yang terlalu rumit di Forex, tetapi nanti Aku usahakan untuk cari lagi di forum tempat saya mengambil indikator2 tersebut :peace:

Ingat Sepandai2nya Tupai melompat pasti akan jatuh juga, secanggih apapun Indicator pasti ada Black Swannya (kata Mr. Naseem Nicholas Taleeb), jadi harap berhati2 Trading tanpa Stop Loss ya kecuali pakai Leverage kecil seperti Dr. Forex.     Saya pernah lihat disalah satu Forum mengenai Trading hanya dengan Fibonachi Retrachement & Candlestick Pattern, mungkin kawan2 sekalian mengenal KENACHI METHODE dari Mas Kenshi.

     

    Setelah Saya membaca posting ini Saya lihat sepertinya tidak beda jauh dengan KENACHI METHODE tsb, hanya dengan system label seperti ini lebih memudahkan kita untuk menarik Fibonachinya (Setuju dengan pendapat Gyverd).

     

    Cukup menarik.

     

    Saya ingin sekali mendengar pendapat Bung Mata_Dewa sebagai Ketua Analis Tehnikal Indonesia sebagai sesepuh THE DOW THEORY mengenai POWER WAVE ini.

    Bila anda menemukan kesulitan lag dlm menggeser chart BB, pisahkan BB ini dalam window tunggal. Coba buka satu chart lagi dgn pair yg sama untuk aplikasi indikator kesayangan anda yang lainnya. Jadi anda punya 2 windows yg saling bekerja sama.

    Perfect Doji

     

    A. Intro

    Perfect Doji adalah satu-satunya candle paling unik di seluruh dunia, eh seluruh charting. Candle "sniper" ini buannyaaakk sekali fungsi dan semua sistem bisa mengadaptasikan terhadap candle yang satu ini. Di industri pemetaan, candle ini hanya diceritakan kulitnya; sebagai reversal point. qqq, banyak yang mereka sembunyikan tuh. qqqq

     

    B. Karakter

     

    --- Tiga elemen terpenting candle ini adalah High Low dan Open=Close. Layaknya perhitungan Conventional Pivot yang mana hanya diperlukan High Low Close. Iya betul, anda bisa menerapkan Pivot S/R di candle ini juga, gak percaya? Ok, bahasan satu adalah ttg Pivot S/R & Perfect Doji.

     

    --- Candle ini memiliki keistimewaan dalam waktu, artinya tidak setiap waktu kita bisa menemukan sebuah candle ini (di TF gede yah). Jadi baik untuk anda2 yang ingin bermain long-term, karena bila tidak ada candle doji yang baru, berarti anda tidak perlu merubah analisa apapun.

     

    --- Pemegang kunci gerbang trend. Yah, dia juga menentukan sebuah trend untuk terjadi atau reversal. Candle ini memiliki kekuatan untuk memikul sebuah downtrend dan memantulkan sebuah uptrend. Bila diijinkan, maka kontinuasi trend akan terjadi baik untuk uptrend maupun downtrend.

     

    C. Bentuk

    Candle ini berbentuk seperti salib atau tanda + sempurna di chart anda. Untuk mengetahui yang mana, anda bisa klik kanan di chart anda

    >> Properties >> rubah warna Line Chart dgn warna lain yang mudah dikenali.

     

    Bila anda masuk ke TF di bawah 4H, anda akan mulai menemukan begitu banyak candle ini bermunculan. Catatan: basis saya mulai dari Monthly dan turun ke 4H. Bila anda sudah "mahir", boleh bermain dgn Hourly atau 30m, yang mana candle ini selalu bermunculan dgn agresif sekali.

     

    Bila anda menemukan sebuah "Four Price Doji", saran saya gunakan doji sebelumnya, karena candle ini hanya sebuah garis datar. Tentu saja kita tidak akan meluputkannya, karena masih berfungsi sbg horizontal S/R, atau garis penganggu. Jadi satu line saja sudah cukup untuk "Four Price Doji".

    Itulah penjual Workshop yg tidak kompetent hanya pintar memberikan nama sebuah System yg bombastis yg belum tentu didalam penerapannya dalam trading sehari2 bisa berjalan sesuai teori yg mereka jual dengan harga mahal.

     

    Apalagi dengar2 si pembuat System Imoral tersebut seorang Option Traders, kenapa bisa2nya pindah2 ke Forex seperti "kutu loncat" berarti orang tersebut tidak ada keahlian yang spesifik dibidangnya.

     

    Sebenarnya system ini mirip2 tehnik teman2 Forex Traders lokal gunakan beberapa tahun yang silam , namanya "Trading Ballance" kala komisi Broker Lokal masih bisa dibalikin ke Traders sebesar $80 per Lot (System DQ), kalau yg senior bisa lebih besar lagi , tergantung negonya.

     

    berarti Strategi Imoral ini hanya refurbish dari Trading Ballance, yang diubah/dimodif sedikit untuk diaplikasikan ke Broker Luar-Negeri, cuma Broker Luar-Negeri lebih cerdik, jadi system Imortal ini GAGAL TOTAL. Rugi deh yg sudah bayar mahal2 ikut Workshopnya :mrgreen:

     

    EA-nya juga ga terlalu spesial. :D

    Ada yang bisa bantu2 ajarin, mungkin Bung Amathevs, Mata_Dewa, Doncol, SEFC-Moderator,Gyverd, atau Bung William-Moderator bisa bantu2 tolong jelasin cara penggunaannya, krn di manualnya tidak ada penjelasan ? Versi.3 ini agak rumit ada Money Manager, Support-Resistance, dll.

     

    Ini juga disertakan attachement Strategy menggunakan Forex Killer ini.

    Dulu disalah satu Broker, ada Manajer bagian Komoditinya ngambek cuma mau trading hanya kalau ada METASTOCK V.6 atau V.7 (sori lupa) yg pasti "jadul" banget punya, padahal waktu itu METASTOCK sudah V.9 untuk cari V.6 atau V.7 tsb tidak ketemu2, sampe bingung kelimpengan semua orang di Broker tsb, padahal Saya sudah kasih yang V.8 tetap tidak mau. Beliau hanya mau Trading kalau ada Metastock V.6 :D
