I found a very interesting system: This system can be used on all currency pairs and some indicies. You can use it to multi timeframe trade or simply to trade from a single timeframe (originally 1 H timeframe).

"For the Ea I am currently developping I used something like (on M15) ; Buy if:

if(Close[0]>SMA_H4 && SMA_M15>SMA_H1 && Rsi (4)M15<30 && rsi_(8)_H1<30 && rsi_(8)_H4<30)//Oversold in UpTrend => BUY the first trade

that's give nice results with scaling in, that means this is for the first trade, and reentry if :

SMA_M15>SMA_H1 && Rsi (4) M15<30

Like I said before, rather rsi levels 30/70, I use Bollinger Bands applied to the Rsi that brings the advantage to control the volatility, trigger is when the Rsi go outside the BB (or better, when the Rsi previous bar was outside BB and come back inside bands).

- Using 20/80 as RSI threshold areas is better than 30/70

- Using RSI(5) is MUCH better than RSI(2). In fact, you might want to look into staggering the RSI period for the 3 timeframes: M15 use RSI(5), H1 use RSI(4), H4 use RSI(3).

- I think you still need a "trigger" to enter the trade. For example, just because the RSI levels are above the 80 threshold (and below H4 SMA), does not necessarily mean the pair is ready to move downward. In this situation once the trade criteria is met, I find moving to M5 and getting a true SHORT signal (you can use your favorite indicator, etc) is a good trigger to enter the trade. This trigger should be easy for you to automate.

- High impact news filter is a good idea. So would be a holiday filter."

I found an interesting EA of the AshFX system but didn´t get it working. Is somebody able to test it on Alpari UK, please? I tried it (on 4 h chart) but it didn´t do anything on my demoaccount. It should work on every pair and on every TF but daily and 4 h chart are recommended. It would be great if somebody can help. ^:)^

Here are the files and a short explanation:

"To use this new version of the EA you need to add the Recent SR indi into your >indicators directory & OrderReliable_V1_1_0.mqh into your >experts>include directory.

Attached is a template which should get you going. It is set to show S/R over the last 28 day period. The EA works by recognising the colour (Indigo) of the lines created by the indi, so don't change this in the EA unless you also change it in the indi."

@-) that only converts the time frame to another time frame ... I mean .. to make EA read our renko chart :) and then make a trade out of it ... i dunno if this applicable on mt4 :) but if it does A simple STUPID ea that USES MA CAN MAKE U RICH ...

I read that you can use "Renko Live Chart" (3.1 or 3.2) EA or indicator if you want to run an EA on the renko charts. The EA which I posted should work especially on renko charts. The guy who posted it in another forum says: "create a renko chart, add the ea onto the offline renko chart and you are away." So it should be possible to use an EA on renko charts and that the EA reads the renko chart. I hope that somebody can create an EA for the Renko Ashi System. ^:)^

P.S.: Another info which I read:

"Some experience problems then attaching EA's to the renko chart. It's usaly easy to fix, just uncheck the "offline chart" checkbox of the renko chart (F8: ->Common tab. On the top left).

Just remeber to turn it on again (or just close the renko chart) before you close MT4, else MT will try to download M2 history from the server next time you start it."

M10 Timeframe is better than M2...? What do you mean exactly.

 

There are no timeframes in Renko...

I mean the 10 m offline chart, sorry. ;) Some people are trading this system with 2 m offline chart but I prefer 10 m because there are not so many false signals - I think Lordsfxt mentioned that in the thread.

first of all had anybody tried the system manualy does it perform well. is it profitable. any repainting.

I used it in the last weeks and so far it is one of the best systems which I´ve ever tested (and that were a lot in the last months). It was the first time that I constantly made and make pips every day. It´s not a scalping system - So you have to be patient because there are not so many trade signals per day and pair (10 m TF is better than 2 m TF). But that´s equal if you make profit, right?

What's the problem you're having with PeterEA1..?

First question: Do you know if the EA is working with "Renko Live Chart" EA or indicator (if so which version)? I tried it on Alpari with version 3.0 and 3.1 but the EA doesn´t open trades.

And the second question: Can the PeterEA basically be used for this Renko Ashi System? Or is it not possible?

that's bad volume data from metatrader. its no big deal, i ignore it. nothing to do with the EA.

Could you test it? Do you know how I can get some results? It´s strange because with other EAs I get results but with that version I got nothing; equal which pair.
