I read this thread first time several months ago, and didn't take it seriously, because I thought astrology for trading might work, but it must be really difficult, and takes decades to learn and apply.

So I saved it somewhere and moved on.

Later I ran into this thread again. And this time, I was really attracted, because as I read on, I found that Unclepips, fmfx and other TS pioneers made it look so simple to use. (although I know there is still hard work needed and challenges to tackle.)

I read through the whole thread twice, learned some basic functions of timing solution from it's website, and tried to use it for cryptocurrencies, but not working well.

Now I'm reading the whole thread again and taking notes. (so sad some images and links shared in the early years vanished in history.)

Hope I can learn how to use TS this time!

And Yes Unclepips, please keep posting.

Could you also share how the projection lines are generated, with the images you post?

Like how you determine the related planets for a market, and the harmonics. (do you use the correlation between projection line and recent price movement to determine the harmonics number?)

Hope I can learn your way of thinking when using this tool to trade.

I was actually surprised when I see Unclepips still sharing on this 7-year old thread. You are a living legend to me. Your posts not only share with us knowledge, but also give us inspirations that this is something worth pursuing. I'm really grateful for that.

AGAIN: The crash is related to the bad "crack".

Thanks for replying.

Based on my observation so far, the program won't crash, unless we try to close a chart or format it.

I remember someone mentioned it somewhere that it's because the crack is not complete.

I was just hoping that maybe someone found a solution or workaround for that.

Anyway, below it's a workaround to load ASCII data for anyone who needs it:

1. create symbol in Data Manager

2. double click the symbol to create a chart. in the pop up Setting window, choose offline, fill in other related setting like timeframe etc. In the Database tab, choose a range that extends to future dates, so that you can later see forecast if you use cycle analysis.

3. click Ok, the chart shows no data and asks you to add symbol again. Click No.

4. Now click "paste in data from file" through the "Options" tab. Choose your csv file, choose the correct price and date format setting like you did when adding symbol. then click Ok, you will see the data loaded on the chart.

Now right click on the chart, and save it. you can later use it as a template to load other data to it.

there are several definitions for "fractals".

I was hoping that this course can share some insights about fractals that relate to self-similarity. (check out Doc Severson's Price Action Madness, Gadfly shared it before)

So I downloaded and skimmed through it.

The fractals in the course are just simple pivot highs and lows, like logicgate posted above. Nothing sexy.

Don't waste your time if you already know those concepts.

Honestly I don't know yet.

But Lance Beggs, a trader and teacher I respect, praised Sam Seiden's work on supply and demand.

That invoked my interest, so I put Sam Seiden on my learning plan.

But I have not yet started learning his materials, so can't give any comments now.
