Looks like there are 2 versions of 8.0.28. One that is profitwala and the other is unknown educator. I installed both in the same computer just to test them if both are running (I installed and uninstalled one after the other) I don't trade with NT8. I only use it for analysis. Here are the few differences I noted. The profitwala version runs much faster. The unknown version took much longer to load charts or bring up the menus. I could immediately feel the difference in speed. I timed the loading of the FLD indicator. Profitwala version took 8 seconds to load. The unknown educator version took 35 seconds. I don't know the reason for this. Whether if it is the difference in reversing or because my Bitdefender doesn't agree with the unknown educator version. The Profitwala version does not have Tradovate connection but the unknown version has it. Both have 5001 TT credits. Hope these comparisons are useful for somebody.

To add, I usually do 10 days. If I’m testing different parameters I’ll load 90 days and use the historical / real time info as you are unable to use strategy analyzer. It’s pretty close, not as good as Market Replay but it’s fast.

Asking for tens of indicators is an inspired approach to finding the single, magical system that works 100% of the time. Why not settle for the common wisdom that mastering one or two tools and focusing on price action is enough.

For users using TS for astrology see the attached screenshot for selecting "Ashwini" Nakshatra timings in TS, it is when Moon passes from ARIES 0 degrees to 13'20" Degrees. Similarly You can calculate for remaining 26. you can get other nakshatra degrees on google. Make sure to choose Viewing location "Bombay"

@osijek1289 version 27 does connect to Tradovate I just tweaked the files since version 27 wasn't working on parallels desktop on my end but other users got it to work hopefully @RichardGere can upload it to this thread but the files are on a different thread but in the same forum in the download link

8.0.28 is available via this link. It works completely fine for connecting to a live broker, can handle at least 1 Rithmic connection, and multiple Tradovate, CQG and most other available NT connections. It has full orderflow capability enabled. It's not the latest version, but is MultiPC, meaning you don't need a license, and it's not tied to any one hardware ID. Few people need the newer/newest copies of NT, unless a specific indicator uses some of the modified scripting they've introduced.

We must initially focus on a single asset, such as gold, as I do. Next, select a few orderflow words that you believe have a significant impact on that asset. For example, I chose S/R, which is displayed by imbalances, absorptions, and trappings on the edges of a five-minute chart. The effects of these terms double when news, such as the release of economic data, approaches. I've been doing this for years. After a year or two, you will be able to distinguish between two identical-looking charts if you train your eyes to gaze at the same chart every day. A never-ending spiral will result from hopping on one indicator after another in pursuit of the holy grail. The developer would never release the system if those indicators were so successful.

I am using the Bear Trail file that was shared here. I assume that these are the settings from the ATS group. The reason why I didnt had any trades was that I haven't loaded sufficient amount of days in data series.

That said, the chance of loosing 2 trades in a row is only 1% and 3 trades is 0.1% with a 90% win rate. Especially with the prop firm game, this is pretty good approach. You’d match your con size to account size and play the probabilities. Whether this strategy works long terms and in different market conditions / cycles remains to be seen. The very tight trailing stop also pretty much eliminates issues with intraday prop accounts, so opens up some cheap account options for folks.

@MaxNguni Yes but only if you grasp trading (price action) and have received payouts. Dont use your hard earned money to pay for it, only use money you can lose to pay for it. Automation takes time and it is not set and forget.
