Here's an old educated file. You need to input a dummy gmail like [email protected] in the settings. Some features, such as exporting to NinjaScript, won’t work since it’s server side and requires a subscription. However, you can export a JSON file of the strategy and have an LLM/ChatGPT convert it into NinjaScript.

Just paste the dlls in C:\Users\%USER%\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom or wherever your Custom folder is.
 

In my experience, the strategies seem to overfit and fail in a true out of sample test.  Let me know if you find something that works.

What do you mean true out of  sample looks like overfitting . They also provide out of sample option it Doesn't work?those auto building strategys are curve fitting while using in out of sample test in autostrategy builder

I'm disappointed that json came to c# and tested it lol

It looks good for catching the basics for backtesting because it goes faster than Ninja Trader built-in backtesting.
And it's worth studying because the indicators of TDUs are available..

I think even they offer in sample and out of sample they both are not working there alogs only for curve fitting am i right

How did you converted the json to c#. Also did you tried manual Builder, For me designer is working ok. But stuck at optimization tab.

You could start first with Ninjatrader itself.

It has strategy builder under "NEW" tab.

It is actually fun to play with it, making your own bots based of your favorite indicators.

Auto strategy builder lot more easier when compare to ninja strategy builder to build an algos

I think so.
As you can see from the picture I posted, it's been profitable recently, not in the past.

It's simple. I'm just asking you to change it using gpt.
Even better if you can handle basic c#s.

so I loaded it, its in there, but I have no idea how to actually test my strategy with it. Any pointers? I am a bit lost.

Maybe, this is where you might wanna start first. Just to get some basic ideas on how to play around with your strats.

this is new version, old version a bit different. the first thing I did go to youtube and find their stuff. thank you for always being helpful though. but I still don't know what to do with it.
