Anyone know what happened to this site and excel software?

 

It's not possible to buy any more after changes in yahoo, then the owner doesn't reply to email.

 

Was wondering if anyone knew of it or had ever come across it in the past 🤔

I wrote to Rick a couple of times, the last being about 3 years ago, asking him if there were any plans to release a new version of XL_Trader. He replied that it was possible but he really wasn't sure. At this point I wouldn't hold out much hope.

Why create all that then leave it to rot, and upkeep a pointless website, so strange.

I couldn't agree more. It had so many advanced capabilities and at a bargain basement price. It's pattern matching routine alone was remarkable. He's a funny guy, very intelligent but on the quirky side. If I think of it I'll try writing him again later this week and let you know if I get any kind of response.

If things are logically arranged, Excel is very userfriendly and through VBA, most task could be done

I decided to write Rick right after my last post so I wouldn't forget and here it is 4 days later and no response. I'm afraid it's a lost cause. The email did go through and wasn't returned so will keep checking but doubt anything will come of it. A shame.

Bizarre, I wonder why he even bothers to maintain the website.

Even more bizarre, if it was being sold at one point, why is there's literally no record on the net of any one ever buying it.
