Traderbeauty Posted August 22, 2020 Report Posted August 22, 2020 (edited) Hello Friends I am attaching 3 great simple but really good indicators for ninjatrader 7 and I would thank anyone that can convert them to ninjatrader 8 for me. The beauty about them is that they are LEADING and not LAGGING. The first one is called Volume Pressure and I have no idea who the vendor is but after working with so many other indicators; this is the one that can help you the most.It measures the volume delta in real time but puts a very smart macd on top of it so basically you can see the trend or situation of the volume delta instead of watching individual delta bars .This is a real time only indicator will not work on historical data. The second and third are also formation and patterns which visually can help you get in a position or exit it . I would not recommend using it as a sole tool but combine it with other rules or systems and its amazing. This is very similar to AscTrend or another name AbleSys but its not the same, again - no idea who wrote it no name inside the code. If not extract the files. copy them in C:\Users\xxxxxx\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Indicators and compile one of the indicators. Make sure that your existing indicators compile without errors. Then place new indicators and compile. The problem could be with the sanity of existing indicators. hamir 1 Quote

Traderbeauty Posted August 22, 2020 Author Report Posted August 22, 2020 It worked perfectly All 3 indicators are up and running, had to test the volume pressure using market replay although i though that ninja 8 has already the level two inside its historical data meaning you can test an indicator that is only live data without the need to download replay data but i guess i was wrong. Anyway- they all work perfect so huge thank you. If you have a compile error that means that you had that before you added the new indicator because i didnt have any problems. May be check the settings. In Nt7, the indicator is using calculate on every bar close/price change. In nt8 the indicators is using on every tick.
