Best Cost x Benefit Laptop/Destop for optimization trading strategies.

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!!

I am thinking of exchanging my laptop for optimization and would like to get some opinions.

I am in doubt on some specific machines.

The computer that most interested me, was the Origin EON 15X - AMD, with the AMD Ryzen 9 3950X or AMD Ryzen 9 3900 (desktop replacement) or the ASUS TUF A15 with AMD 9 Ryzen 4900HS (recently launched in India). From what I researched, these processors gain with a certain advantage even from the ninth generation I9 processors (desktop x desktop) and in the case of AMD laptops they even win from Intel desktops.

So, my main doubt is whether the processing loss on the desktop replacement of the laptop from Origin would be too great compared to assembling a similar build on a desktop PC considering the processing limitation on a laptop with the desktop processor because it uses a power limitation that does not let the processor run at full power, or even more to build a Build with Ryzen Threadripper for example. What would be the best cost-benefit ratio for optimization of indicators and EA's in your opinion?

Origin AMD Ryzen 9 3950 x: As for the loss of performance due to Eco Mode (65W) x Stock TDP (105W), does this make a very significant difference in performance? I ask this precisely because I am interested in the laptop to optimize EA's and Indicators in MT4 or to build a similar build on a desktop PC.

NOTE: if you have any similar recent post, I'm sorry I didn't find it in the search.

NOTE 2: I hope this is useful for you, because it was a lot of work ... kkk

jump on a Virtual Private Server, no need to buy expensive hardware theses days

on a Virtual Private Server, your EA will open trades automatically while you sleep 24/7

sorry have you a VPS to recommend ? also which kind of configuration is needed for the right performance?

interesting this thread. thank you Rodrigo

thank you very much for the first answers Aotegaoteg and MM62, the idea is precisely to explore what would be the best cost benefit for the optimization of ea's and indicators. In my view, Ryzen processors will gain a lot of space in the laptop market. a good cost benefit within the table pcs are the second generation Threadrippers. I really liked the replacement laptop from Origin (AMD Ryzen 3950x) but I couldn't find out if the damage to the limitation of watts in their bios is greatly reduces the firepower on their laptop( i believe it runs on 60W).
