Why bother about these if you can get comparative results with the commercial versions? Not to put you off the commercial versions Timo,but I'd just like your reasoning or rationale behind your wanting Acutrader or V-Stops when a similar free indicator which is relatively accurate can be had. After the algo detects a turn in trend or momo it also reflects that with lines/dots above and below price. I know it's not as accurate as Acutrader but this baby used to sell in droves in 2012, when they used to call it "Wall Street's Best Kept Secret" until copycats like Acutrader and Bar Analyzer VStops came on the scene. Right click the chart and go to the Indicators menu. Find for the RampageV7MTA indicator settings on the right. Now go to the Parameters section, and look for the File Frame Type section .Click it to bring down the menu.It will have all your installed bartypes.Now make sure you click on the bartype you are using in the chart, Tick,Volume, Range, Minute,etc. The default is Minute. After you have done that go to the section under that where you will see the Time Frame Value section and update it with the value of the bartype you are using,for example if using Minute, how many minutes? If 5 mins type 5.If using renkos, how many renkos for the value? 4? or 6 renkos? Then type 4 or 6. After you are finished click on Apply and OK and you are done.Do that and see how it works Timo what is your favored/most used bartype.Let me know and I will upload a template for you which you can use with Rampage. In any parameters section where you have to fill in your customised settings, don't forget you can always right click your mouse on that section and click on "Set default for....." for it to always remember your default settings when you add that same indicator again. Or you can also create a template which will always have the same settings until you change them again. Glad it worked.Well the Rampage has been around for a few years now, and most of it's trading nuances are quite well known now to most traders. But their default values for the indicator settings should have been more "trader friendly".Many in the past have also asked about your exact problem and the solution is well known to users now.The Rampagev7MTA is just their accumulation/distribution ribbon plot.
