Anyone using BookMap

Hi all,

 

I am trying to find an adge in using BookMap, I am trading now with OF and want to see also waiting orders in time, but can not find any pattern in reading the chart. I have old educated version 3.6.6 for NT7. Thanks for any input.

BM give a great edge buy IMHO it must be used like a confirmation on your actual trading signals

In a breakout you want to see big market orders comin in consuming liquidity, if you are fading a reversal you wanna see big bunch of limit orders on your side

3.6.6 is the only version working with ninja.

Latest cured i have is 3.8.3 but works only with cqgtrader, not ninja

Interesting, in those "get and go" webinars they were using market microstructure principles along bookmap and a tool called jsdesktop

Did anyone use it?

oh wow, jsdesktop is a money grab & waste of time, it adds complexity to trading that isn't necessary. a successful trader like futurestrader71 looks at simple Market Proflile and auction market theory to trade. I suggest read J Dalton's book on Markets In Profile.
