Hi, I'd like to know what kinds of data feed do you use for NinjaTrader, Tradestation, Multicharts... and so on. Thanks in advance.

Ninja-I Use Kinetick.

I use CQG in Demo mode. Last week I had no connection for 2 days and today not working.

what datafeed were you using earlier that worked best for you? i afraid but no one can make a blanket statment as to which one is good. the only secret key to select one is - the one which worked best in ur particular trading setup . happy trading . may god bless us all.

I have a 1 real account and 1 demo account and I had no problems neither last week nor today

CQG works fine in demo and live.

For better historical charting and tick data DTN Iqfeed is very good.

4 - 5 years ago I used eSignal and at that time it was a pain in the a** to keep it running.

Hi, when you say CQG in demo mode, you mean the 2 week free trial? or there is a more extended demo of the service?

eros1973ms, CQG demo mode is other datafeed than CQG live mode. That is why you NEVER test with a datafeed you get with a free trial from a broker. At AMP you can extend a CQG demo on NT endless.

Demo and live will give after the fact the same high/low of candles, but the live feed is much more nervous than the demo feed.

I am new at ninja trader i open demo at CQG for data .when connect i didn't get hostrical data i just get the current bar only .

 

what wrong in my setting
