Just one more thing: I have the software already installed (3.7 version). I have to do the whole process as described earlier all over again, or there is a shortcut?

How do you do to have more than 256mb of memory in Str@tegy Qu@nt , I tried to add the in Java run time parameter -Xms3072m but it still 256md in Str@tegy Qu@ant.

I solved my issue when I realised theat this is a Java in the Str@tegy q@nt folder.

after 1 yr of stop posting over indo, due to some heartbreaks, this is my start of contribution again.

 

Cure for 3.80

 

1. for those who hv constantly failed previous attempts, delete your old java and re-install new java.

 

2. restart your pc (a must).

 

3. download v3.80 from the site strategyquant.com

for those who installed prior versions, delete/move away/rename your old GeneticBuilder.jar

install application. do not launch the app, close it.

 

4. download cure from http://www.4shared.com/rar/pGh_zD7ice/whatdheck.html

 

5. extract to your C:\StrategyQuant, pw: indo

 

6. double click GeneticBuilder32.bat or GeneticBuilder64.bat to run the app each time.

It takes about 5 mins to load the app. be patient.

You will see these lines appear in your interface.

"Starting application ....blablabla

Pseudocode ....blablabla

INFO edition: Professional edition"

 

7. if you fail no. 6, please restart your pc.

I have tried this several times with no success. Do you have to put the GeneticBuilder.jar in the SQ directory? If so where?

Fx Tech,

 

Place all the files into the C:\StrategyQuant directory. Then just actually run the GeneticBuilder.jar file (Doesn't work if you run either the GeneticBuilder32 or GeneticBuilder64 batch files). Should take a short period of time to load depending on the power of your PC, but should work without issue. I have just installed it using version 3.8.0 without issue, but should also work for any version you may have.

 

Any issues let me know and I'll try to assist.

I saw you cracked StrategyQuant, but EA Wizard is a must in order to complete the work of StrategyQuant.

And also someone knows why with the patch i could only open the 32bit version? when i click on 64 bit version the console windows appears and directly disappears again. with the 32 bit file it works perfectly even a bit slow i think.. maybe its my computer ^^

SQ requires Java to run. Which version of Java is installed, 32bit or 64bit. Again, the batch file that you run for SQ should reflect the java 32 or 64.
