There's a guy with the name of Dr. Barry Burn/s "Topdogtrading.com" He has a phd in markets trading. So you could ask him. Although, in my opinion, I don't think you can do phd in it, but you could probably do your doctorate thesis in it.

I don't think there is a phd in forex trading, you can do phd in finance and fields related to that but not particularly in forex trading.

yeah most probably phd in a related field such as finance or economics i guess but not in forex, though im not sure.

I heard that some economic universities in developing countries introduced new course called "currency and stock dealing". It is a great step in putting forex on a legal ground from government view.

I think it would be hard to learn Forex in a PhD finance or economics program. But nothing prevents you from writing a thesis on this subject, as long as your supervisor agrees.

Yeah forex market could be an interesting subject for your Phd but i haven't heard of anyone doing a research work on forex market.

Don't see any neccessity in getting PhD in forex. Though this status could help you to get through the red tapes in opening your hedge fund or brokerage firm as well as add reputation to it. It is enough for me to have school diploma and solid knowledge of economics and money exchange nature to make money on Hotforex. Make your bet - reputation or real knowledge..

I have never thought that Forex also have any PhD degree which can be learned by few universities. I would like to study for that, good post.

I don’t think it’s like that in Forex, it’s a brilliant business and if we do hard work then we can easily achieve brighter results, so we don’t required PHD in here, but we just need to make sure we do hard work which should be enough. It’s ever easier for me with broker like OctaFX which is too special having steady spreads, high leverages, bonuses or even rebate scheme where 50% can be gained, so it’s all very useful to have.
