I want to add another example how to use the ASCII setup of the DT platform for Intraday data.

The data are stored on the c-drive as “txt”-file.

Each data provider uses another data format for its intraday data. So, this must be determined first before starting the ASCII setup.

are there any one currently using DT7 with live ascii data feed from metatrader 4? ever since the new build of metatrader it's very difficult to locate the ascii data file in MT4 through DT7 or 6.You will see the mt4 folder in program file but when you click on the expert file the ascii data file is not there any more it is in the appdat/roaming folder which is not accessable through DT 7 or 6. Please help.

I use DT7 with MT4 data since years....it works .

The problem with the app data roaming foulder is a Windows issue....

The foulder is "hidden", so you can see it on Mt4, but won´t show on DT!!

The data I save through a little indi on MT4, on my hard drive....

To solve the "hidden" foulder issue, you need to google some "Windows forums"...there´s lot´s of solutions on how to make the app data foulder "apperar" again...It is tricky, cause it varies on different Pcs...took me like 2 hours trying...basically you need to go to Windows/foluders...and change as adm. the way they "show"...
