Please check Iron Fx MT4 and see if they are still providing free stocks data .As i remember, hope I'm not wrong, they once did. Then load them up into the soft as you do for Fx data using DT Generator.It"s the data files format, that is ASCII "txt." or "prn." that matters. Hope it helps. What I´m trying to do is to download historical data from Yahoo Finance in csv format and try to convert it into ascii format. The problem revolve around that CSV file are composed by 7 columns and TD7 ASCII have 8 and I dont seem to find how to fix it for DT7 to read it properly. Anyone any idea? Just download MLdownloader and selecting ASCII you will get a .TXT file that you have to run on DT7...works fine EOD !! puiu288 Posted December 10, 2014 Report Share Posted December 10, 2014 (edited) @newbie0101 , on post 116 :My friend,briefly, it has matrix cycles,it has also a so called EW counter (much closer to a zig zag), and a lot of good looking tricks( cycle projections, time projections etc ) theoretically allowing the user to identify accurately the swing points or picks and bottoms. It has also some scanners allowing the user to estimate picks and bottoms or endings of primary and intermediate 2,3,4,5 waves, it has also a stochastic improved indicator and time bands . Shortly, it"s a nice piece of software,a complex one , nice design, nice charts , many colours etc.I have tested DT7 with EOD MT4 data and frankly, accuracy about 40-45% even less. Not at all as accurate as it is said, no significant edge to DT5 or 6,but i"m not sure if it is a matter of the data quality or an issue with the software algorithm. Hope if used with RT data the results may be much better. An A++ for the documentation for the soft , clear and detailed . Me too I"ve noticed the interest among members of II for this product and i think it is normal due it is a new release. But it is far away from the holy grail ( as i said, at least if you use it with EOD data). Once again, hope that it will prove a much . much better trading platform if used with real time data.Thank you guys for the opportunity offered for testing it ( Candyman, dcbsod).It worthed giving it a try for experience accumulation and skill development.
