I currently still use this indicator and I have modified this to show me the most important levels.

This is the full package the way I have the chart setup complete with all the indicators and the chart template. The other levels you will see on the chart are the CurrentOHL and the PriorDayOHLC this indicator is a standard NT Indicator with in your indicator list. I use a 5 Min Chart with 10 to 14 days of Data. You will find these levels to be very

accurate. I use this setup like this to clean the chart up and plot the most relevant information.

Import NinjaScript Errror - Import failed. The Ninjascript Archive File may contain duplicate method names that already exist on your PC or there is a required file missing on either your PC or in the import archive.

I got the same problem as you. error message when importing the MTFBarDirection

I haven't checked the indies loaded by time-in but I believe you need to do this in order for it to work:

 

Open any indicator for edit via Tools > Edit NinjaScript, right mouse click and select References > Add, and find the following file, Open, OK.

"C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\System.Design.dll"

Usually when you are importing an indicator, Ninja lets you choose if you already have a duplicate name on your PC. If the one on your PC is newer than the one your importing, it ask would you like to replace it. In this case you say no or if the one you are importing is newer than replace it with the one that you already have installed.

 

It sounds like you may not be getting this option to choose from. If not than try to reinstall it again and see if you get the options to replace it. The indicator is good so the problem is not coming from the indicator, it may be because of the duplicate name.

 

In this case I have no idea how to determine what part of the code is a duplicate on your NT imports.

I have put this in CUSTOM folder.. but cant see TPO indicator in INDICATOR list?

 

From where I can put those indicators on Charts?

 

In my indicator list it does not show up in alphabetical order it shows up at the top of the list under TPO and Volume Profile Chart, check there.

Anyone can provide some books on how to trade with volume profile?

 

There are still lots of lines there.

blue lines and cyan lines. What are the criteria for trading with these linese?

 

I am also looking for a volume profile tool/indi that can update automatically while playing backward. For example, if session starting date is set as 03-15-2015, the volume profile can give the whole profile starting from 3-15-2015 up to today. And then when you playback to yesterday, the whole profile will update starting from 3-15-2015 to yesterday, not to today. When you keep playbacking, the whole profile keeps updating.

Lululee The buy and sell signals are coming from the lower time frame chart. Entering the trade on pull backs and trading in the direction of the trend. Then using the TPO Chart to identify value areas on the market profile levels.

 

I just added two new indicators to help with identifying the trend direction on the lower half of the chart. The oscillator is a PBF_Squeeze Indicator and the Wave Trend Indicator. I also included a New Chart Template that will clearly help with identifying the market profile chart much better. When I have this chart up I also use a lower time frame chart with entering and exiting trades.

 

The only way you are going to really see how powerful this chart setup is, you’ll need to watch the price action in real time. The first thing you should do is get familiar with the terminology of the TPO Indicator. Open up a chart take a look at the settings of the TPO Indicator. Under the Value Area line #24: this plots the Cyan Color Lines. These are the areas where the highest level of volume traded in the body of the market profile.

I have the volume bar color #38: which is the body of the profile in Transparent because I don’t want to see this displayed on the chart. I am basically trying to clean up the chart as much as possible to show the most relevant information. Now go to #38 and change this to a different color so you can see what the body looks like to get familiar with these levels. If you leave the market profile colors on the chart becomes very cluttered and it will become so confusing that the chart becomes useless.

 

Number 32: Blue in color is the 2nd Value Area this is also a (POC line). I have this behind the Cyan color line this is to identify where the second high value area is. When these area plot like this you will know where the highest level of volume traded on the market profile.

 

The other Lime Color Lines #42: single print lines- these will print new TPO Value Areas and these lines print in real time to the right of the chart. If these lines do not get taking out on a retracement they will remain on the chart till price test them.

 

The next two lines are going back to #25:VAH Blue Line & #26: VAL Deep Sky Blue Line these are the value high & low areas of the profile. The Cyan color line that overlays the Blue line, which are the high value areas these levels plot every 30 minutes on a 5min chart.

 

I am using the ncatHiddenGaps Indicator on this chart, when a high volume serge comes in to the market this indicator will change the bars to different colors. In a uptrend the bar will change to Deep Sky Blue and in a downtrend to Magenta color bar and all of the previous bars from the breakout will turn to Silver.

 

If you put the GomMP Indicator on this chart just for testing you will see this will out preform the Gomi. Simply because of the high value levels remain on the chart and you don’t have to guess where they are. Don’t forget to keep an eye on the Current Day OHL and the Prior Day OHLC these levels are always being tested and they act like a magnet to price.

 

Give it a try you will be pleased…

Hi P29...just expand the x's and y's more. you cannot view this as you view candlestick etc....so you will only be able to view may be 10 - 15 candles of this at time with right view...expand the price and time you will be fine.
