The link given is only metastock 11, not version 13 as stated.

I guess, above Version 11, you need to subscribe from elegilble/valid data vendor, and can't have your own, so it is not so good who maintains their own database. Correct me, If I'm wrong.

From my understanding, all Metastock versions except 12 allow you to use local data so versions 11/13 would work for those who maintain their own databases. If anyone could educate 13 it would be greatly appreciated.

I looked into it, and it is free; just be sure to cancel your subscription otherwise they will bill your credit card after a month. I unfortunately do not have a credit card to sign up with.

It is possible to cheat the system using the virtual machine technology.

1)Install VMWare Virtual Machine

2) Install Windows on the virtual machine

3) Install motivewave

4) Get the free trial.

Now you can use the motivewave and its full functions.

Very IMPORTANT: DO not exit motivewave. Never

5) just pause the virtual machine. When you need to use motivewave again, unpause the machine and use it.

that is a snake-oil , it contains metastock 11 pro , plus a fake file titled 'update' which is ofcourse useless . its a new way to find scapegoats n force sell premium accounts.
