Any templates for this Hawkeye

Tks

Use the installer provided.. it should place them in the template folder... also some user docs in C> program files > Hawkeye folder

Patch works a charm. I used the installer first... it will place a zip file in the Ninja > bin > custom folder.

Extract contents there. copy the patched files to this folder. Delete the file called Hawkeye_NinjaTrader_Pro_v12.6a.X64. Copy the file Hawkeye_NinjaTrader_Pro_v12.6a.cs file to the Bin > Custom > Indicator folder.

Open ninja... go to Tools > Edit Ninjascript Indicator > select Hawkeye. When open right click on window and open references. > Add HawkeyeNinja2012, Add Hawkeye_NinjaTrader_Pro_v12.6a.X64

then compile and you done.

Hi Keifer-

Thanks a lot for the explanation- would never be able to install without it, I do have some problems though-

I extracted the zip into the custom folder. That zip included the cs file and the 2 dll 64 and 86. I then copied the your cs file ( not the zip one ) to the indicator folder and compiled it.

You wrote: "Delete the file called Hawkeye_NinjaTrader_Pro_v12.6a.X64"

But then when I tried to edit and add it from the references menu it was not there.

I ended with many compiling errors so I just deleted all the dlls and the cs file then compiled another indicator with no errors this time but no hawkeye of course.

Please help.

Thanks

Jane

TB,

I think the instructions assumed that you were going to use the 32 bit indy. If you are going to use the 64 bit indy perhaps you should not delete it and then add the 64 bit indy reference from the indy edit screen. Just a thought.

Ciao!

Can someone please help me with the install.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jane, maybe help maybe not.

I just tested this on my end with 64bit NT-I used the files included in this link-installer provided by keifer(thanks) and the fixed dll's from futuretrader(thanks)

http://[email protected]/rar/lzS6tSQl/topost.html

@=a

Had NT closed-ran installer-copied dll's to "custom folder" replacing when prompted and all seems to be fine. Did not check all indis but ones I checked working and templates there too.

Hope helps- If not someone here will be able to help.

Thanks to all involved

Have a great one!

Are you using with 32 bit NT? or 64bit?just asking cause if not mistaken the provided dll's by futuretrader are only 64.

I guess 64 - i have a window 7 computer a year old so i guess it 64.

btw- I re- download these 2 dll posted on page one and tried again and it did not work :(.

Another disaster is that my renko spectrum is gone now- no idea why, maybe because i installed kalyani .

I looked and the rj's dll is still there.

I did backup my ninja just before but i am afraid to do a restore and really mess up.

Thanks ahead for any help.

Hi, I meant are you using NT7-64 bit?

If you goto "all programs" and select the n1nja tr@der folder you will either have only one NT to click on or two one of which says (64bit)

it's due to new bar type embedded in dll which has same PeriodType. you can use cs version of renko spectrum. try to change its code with notepad. find the string "Custom4" and replace it with "Custom5" and recompile and restart NT. you should remove renko spectrum dll. if Custom5 is not working, try each option from "Custom0" to "Custom9", or "Final0" to "Final4".

Hi minch thanks for great info and how-to.Do you have a link to the cs version?

Thanks in advance

the files from futuretrader only will work on the 64bit version. click on the 64bit version to start NT and see if indis plot on chart then.

hope helps

Hi Newbie

Thanks for the help- i didnt even know about this option, i do get the indicators but only few of them nothing of the good and interesting ones.

Tried them on a regular renko so it works but only partially.

Another question- I do have a strong computer- Intel I-7 with 12 gig ram and window 7 pro- so should i start the ninja 64 from now on ?

Take care

Jane
