HLH4 Price Action Strategy, To Good To Be True ? or Something Wrong ? Fix This

Hi All Senior trader and all of you on this forum,

 

I want to share my strategy work on H4 Time frame, already built on this EA,

 

Rules : (on every new BAR formed)

 

1. Open Buystop and SellLimit on High [1] Price / High price Previous candle H4

2. Open Sellstop and BuyLimit on Low [1] Price /Low price Previous candle H4

3. All Stoploss is 5 pips

3. Pending order Expiration 478 minutes

4. All Order Use trailing stop 10 pips

5. All Order TakeProfit 100 pips

 

Please Backtest open price only model and tell me what you think ?

This First Original System is give me bad result in Every tick tester

 

I think there's something wrong or anything i do not understand.

 

Let's somebody FIX this and improve the system.

i believe someone on this forum can help

 

Before you make a question, please backtest this EA first.

To my EA buddies, this looks like an opportunity to test this EA and help Akhmadfx improve this project if anyone's interest. Although I'm not into EA's, I've read other forums where traders like the testing phase so far. Looks like a good team project to me.

Interesting EA and system.

I´ve been testing it with default settings and it is working according to the rules of the system. But it gets stopped out a lot. I think it is because 5 pips stoploss is not enough. Any thoughts about increasing it?

I´ve had better results with a 50 pip stoploss. I had two EUR/USD trades in the +50 zone to go back to -10 in a matter of minutes so a 50 SL buys you more time. If I had my tp at 50 I would have had a 100 pip profit in both trades.

Maybe that is what I will test now. After all this is the H4 timeframe. Anyway this is not a set&forget EA. You have to keep monitoring your trades every 4 hour bar because it keeps

opening pending orders. If we could fine tune this thing this one could be a keeper.

How about releasing the source code mql4 to us, and letting us hack at it?

 

5 pips stop loss is actually quite possible, but you'd need to make sure that the stop was above the high/low of the day and you were in very very close to that. Otherwise about 23 pips stoploss is passable with correct MM.

Hi lapa70, you can try to set parameter, on open price only we have a good result, but if we use every tick tester that's give me very bad result, that's the problem.

1. All of material that i give is copyrighted, never sell or share to anybody, use for private and personal only, and i never sell too.

2. HLH4_1.mq4 is HLH4 first original every tick trailing stop version.

3. HLH4_CANDLE_SIZE_FILTER.mq4 is HLH4 filtered with candle size selection.

4. SupRes_AKHMAD_HLH4.mq4 is version of HLH4 combine with Fractal Support and Resistant custom indicator.

5. SR_Fractal_Ori.mq4 is not HLH4 system, this EA is pure Fractal support and resistant based.

6. HLD1.mq4 is HLH4 system but design to work in D1 time frame.

7. Fractal Support and Resistance.mq4 is custom indicator that u need to work together with SupRes_AKHMAD_HLH4.mq4 and SR_Fractal_Ori.mq4

 

that's my early HLH4 research, btw the final version is not yet finished, still on progress to make this system work better.

What I meant was that I tested the EA directly on my demo account not on strategy tester. Some reached tp other sl and other I closed myself.

hi, i make a backtest using only open price obtaining positive result, but using all ticks backtest goes down. Why don't we use only open price ?

Back test shows positive result if every orders is processed on open price .

you can use openprice only if a trade is opened/closed at the open of a candle

no SL, no TP and no limit orders

anything else requires tick mode

Hello,

 

this is my last updated and progress.

 

i will make more advance system, this new HLH4 system will trade automatically with no fear of Margin call, sounds like crazy idea, but minimal is can avoid margin call by profit and margin management system of new HLH4 concept.

everybody can call me crazy, but i dont care, i do what i want to do. nothing can stop my journey.

 

Here last HLH4 concept become trend follower system breakout strategy, can scan and search automatically every valid breakout in H4 TimeFrame
