Trading Software for Stocks? PLS Help ..

Hello,

i have no data feed i pay for.

Do you know any trading software that i could use for Stock data and where to get Stock data from (yahoo) to work with?

Im only good with MT4 but that isn´t usable with Stocks, so i hope you could help me!

Hi, provided you don't need real time data try Gann Analyst which is free but EOD.

Then just search for forum for a Yahoo data down loader - there are many that will provide a metastock database for the charts in Gann Analyst.

Any CFD or spreadbetting firm will do: Well, try to get a demo version of saxo or CMC - but delayed stocks data. Or one from fxflat.de or GFT or whs, which are all the very same - so you could use one after the other rotating every month.

Free program from "QuoteTracker" if your broker support. I knew that lots of broker allow that software. I like it. Thinkorswim also free from my broker also.

You might like to start with EOD data that is accessable with AptiStock or JStock. These are analysis programs only, but you have access to EOD data everyday from Yahoo. Also these stock analysis programs access worldwide major stock exchanges and you can do simulated trading to practice your trading skills.

fibotrader, its only limitation after trial period is over, is that, it can read only ASCII data format, but in any case, has many of the features...

EOD = End of Day - hence daily bars.

 

Gann Analyst is a Technical Analyst Program that compares to Metastock - which is probably No1 or 2.
