How to get on MT4 lower TF that M1?

Hi guys,

There is on ForexFactory good thread by Tony: Central Banks & Big Players. I like the strategy because most of the time the beginning after opening set the trend up to close. It is predictable.

The problem is Tony trades on 5 seconds TF charts! Must be custom broker's platform.

I now there are indicators or EAs which can make tick charts on MT4 but how we can get 5 or 10 sec. TFs charts on MT4???

Do you have any idea or indicator which can make it?

I will be glad and many traders also. We could start a new thread on this interesting theme.

Thank a lot. I downloaded bunch of indicators but not sure which one will be suited for the job. Needs testings at no time. I tried it on 1M chart and I think it could work even on 1M TF. What is considered a big candle on 1M chart? I am not familiar with 1M TFs.

open a demo account @oanda

you can then open a 5sec chart in a seperate window and move this window into your running mt4 platform

much easier and more accurate than any simulation

disadvantage is that each time you click on the mt4 area the 5s chart disappears

but if you are trading Tony's method you're only interested in LON/NY open and could open the mt4 order window beforehand and then move the 5s chart into your mt4 area

Thank iwjw, I will try. That's a high tech advice! Not too many know it. The only question is how exact is the oanda demo feed? Most of the demos feed illusions! Edited October 22, 2012 by hermes
