you need to get rid of the indicator which gives a compiler error, it can be anything, delete the one that generates an error and it should work

This indicator cumulate volume inside a swing and resets it on next swing. I assume the up/down bars cumulate the up/down bars inside a swing. Since an UP swing has mostly up bars and growing volume, it is likely the output to be visually similar but i don't think is EXACTLY the same. At least the values are different.

I don't use any up/down bars indicator (and does not seems to be a default one in NT) but you are free to post an image and show everybody what you mean.

What do you mean by this? There is no setting in Indicator called "ChannelTrend"?

 

ChannelTrend this is not a parameter of the indicator.

ChannelTrend is the type of chart to NT.

Im talking about the bars themselves no indicator, we don't need this indicator ZigZagVolume because its just trading exactly the same up/down as the up/down bars/candles is what im saying.

Just go long when the bar green short when red its the same as this indicator.

Also, as you can see, the color of the price bar is not always same as color of the indicator bar.

 

I am sure this indicator alone will not help some1 to trade better, but i think we can't just say is EXACTLY same as up/down bar. Some1 may find it useful.

All zig-zag indicators repaint based on settings. That is because it takes a number of bars to validate the swing high/low so the swing can be invalidate after 2 bars for example, and a new swing is formed. Until the defined number of bars are met to validate the swing, it can move with every new bar. The volume bars will be repainted every time when swing moves and will only remain valid after a new swing is validated. With deviation 0 you basically get a new swing for each new bar if changes direction.
