50 pips set and forget

Our good friend Karl Dittman strikes again with the greatest automatic system since sliced bread. This is the system Karl uses now to get rich (off of us). Made 307 pips in the month of August. Just wondered if anyone has tried this fabulous system and what your results were. Personally I can't afford the $67 he is asking for this because I have blown 14 accounts on all of his other systems so if you can help a poor struggling wannabe trader out, let me know.

This system is losing about 66% of the trades and that's too much for R/R=1:2 (I tested with fixed lotsize w/o further mm)

So what you can expect over a years period is breakeven give or take a few

But that said it seems to be Karl's best system so far

I don't know how Karl got his 80+% winning trades (maybe in his best month)

Yesterday on the three pair he states:

$Y- 0; £$ lost; €$ W & L so overall minus 15 pips for the day.

Today 28 Sept $Y +9.5; £$ - 18; €$ + 17 so, overall + 8.5 pips for the day.

Settings as follows:

LongOnly/ShortOnly:

If you want to trade/test one direction only you can set it here

 

InvertedStrategy:

if set true, sellstop becomes buylimit and buystop becomes selllimit

 

MinRange/MaxRange

you can define what the minimum/maximum rangesize is. If the range doesn't match ->no trades

 

AutoTradeMinlots:

if set true always trade with the smallest availlable lotsize (setting in Lots is ignored)

 

Lots:

if AutoTradeMinlots is false this is the relevant lotsize

 

UseMM:

if set true, lotsizes are depending on the size of the range and the stoploss

 

MaximumRisk:

Percentage of Equity the trade will risk

 

TakeProfit/TP_multiplier:

If TakeProfit is >0 then it's taken as an absolute value

Otherwise the TP_multiplier defines the target in multiples of the range

 

StopLoss/SL_Muliplier

same behaviour as Takeprofit

 

Breakeven/JumpingStop

Same behaviour. If you not want to use it leave it at the high number

 

StartHour/EndHour

Defines the timewindow for the range

Please don't ask me what the settings for your broker are!!!

 

HoursExpiration:

If set to zero, the trade will stay until it gets triggered

Hmm.. Indeed this seems to be the best of KD's systems so far. It's a matter of setting the timing right with your broker. I've backtested this breakout strategy and I can see the potential. The beginning and the end of the day are usually quiet. BUT 2 things I notice: The TP can go as far as the NY session. The TP of 50 is only possible in the extreme cases. Anyone willing to give KD a second chance? Uh I mean, a hundredth chance? =)
